The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Use of Rememdy

Hello,

I have been prescribed graphites 30c 3 pellets 3 times a day, if its too much i can try twice or once a day for 40-50 days. I am a sensitive person, so how could this dosage be taken by someone like me and still be effective? Will i get tolerant to this and have to increase the dose later on? How does homeopathy dosages fit into this?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Pl ask this question to the prescriber as he will be able to answer you .

A better way to do this is to try a test dose of the 30c.

You can take 3pills put them in 1/4 cup of water and try
one tsp as a dose. Then wait and see what your reactions are.

If you have a worsening of old symptoms come up after a day
or so then you wait and see if things get better and start
releasing. You only take another dose after things return or stall
out.

If you have no reaction to the one dose then try another one
and again wait for around 12 hours to see what happens. If
nothing happens try it one more time. If nothing happens then,
the remedy is wrong.

Everyone has to base the amount of doses depending on
the reaction or lack of reaction. You cannot know this before
trying it. Water dosing is more gentle than taking dry pills.

Your homeopath should know this and while they may have
the remedy correct, they cannot possibly know how you
are going to react.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply will try what seems like a more gentle method for me. This is a different homeopath. I seem to get ones with interesting methods.

You need to ask them why they are not using the methods outlined in the last edition of our Organon of Medicine. You seem to have found another practitioner who is willing to overdose you. I am distrustful of any practitioner who does not believe how powerful our medicines are.

Are they asking you to take that medicine for several weeks? Multiple times a day?!

Yes it seems like this practitioner wanted me to take 3 pills 3 times a day until i asked them if there was another method for someone like me. Then they said if it was too much then try twice a day then once. They also said I would be less sensitive as I kept taking it or some sort of explanation. They wanted me to do this for 40-50 days. Did seem like a lot to me. Not having much luck and at the same time not improving.

That is dangerous. Don't continue with this treatment. It is possible to make yourself permanently worse this way.

Where are you exactly, that you keep finding these kinds of practitioners?

Alright will take your advice. I am in California. Many practitioners hard to find the right one. I might as well start allopathy then revisit homeopathy later on.

It does not sound like this person was really trained in homeopathy.
Many naturopaths, alternative health people say they use homeopathy
but they only took a short course and use homeopathy like vitamin
supplements.

There are many good homeopaths, properly trained in California-
I live in that state. If you want someone qualified, let me know
what city you are in and I can give you options.

You don't want to go to allopathy and back to homeopathy bc allopathy
is going to suppress your symptoms and then there will be more
work for the remedies to do bc the remedies are going to push
out everything that you just suppressed.

Homeopathy is Like cures Like in the minimum dose. When there is
a reaction you stop dosing and observe to know the effect and
what to do next. There is no way to know ahead of time- so telling
someone to take things carte blanche for 30 days is ignorance-
the patient will overdose and start to have new symptoms they never
had. This person has no idea of what they are doing.

Alright I am understanding, I may also have to do certain therapies while on homeopathy as well as removing dental work to get better, do not know if they will interfere or not but seems like they have to be done. I would sure like to find a qualified homeopath as you two are talking about. I will message or try to as where I live exactly, sent to your email.

The other option is that I take your case here. There are significant limitations when not seeing someone in person, but I seem to be able to get some reasonably good results this way. I think the main problem is long term management, so perhaps moving to seeing someone in person later on might be required.
