Overdosing and Detoxing.
HiI am a sufferer of Hemmoroids and Fissure which are extremely painful and discomforting.In my quest to find relief i consulted many Homeopaths and also self medicated.In the process I feel that i have been overdosed as no remedy seems to be working.Is this possible in Homeopathy? Is it possible to reverse the process of overdosing (Detoxing) thru some medicines over a period of time,so that fresh treatment can start with effective results,also how long would the body take to expel the effects of overdosing.

You have to have someone start over
on your case. Depending on your overall symptoms and what you
have taken- some people would start you off with nux vomica to
clear past effects, or sulphur, or a combo of the two and then remedies.
Others would prescribe for what you are presenting at this time
and whatever effects of past remedies does not matter, the prescription
would be one that covers all things showing up at this time.
As far as waiting, it all depends on what is going on now, when you had
the last remedy, the potency and so on- one cannot make a general
statement.

I have started another thread on this forum ' Acute pain due to pilesand fissure.' wherein i have listed my present symptoms and the medication prescribed.I have been advised to lay off all medication for a week,thought it is for detoxing.You may want to go thru my thread.

The right remedy will cure your complaints, you don't need to remove the effects of previous remedies specifically. The simillimum (the remedy that most closely matches all your symptoms inside and out) will do what is necessary and does not require the aid of other remedies.
