This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Its not a 'disease' that requires cure.

When you find a cure for the desire to eat, drink and breathe, then you will find the cure for masturbation too!

Hello fitness,

Of late I am finding lot many posts being put up by youngsters on this topic of Masturbation.

My hypothesis is, that a few of them are really worried ones but some of them might be just writing out of curiosity or fun.

I feel that it is time that we docs. on the forum ought to ignore this issue for sometime as now it is resulting into game of 'INTELLECTUAL MASTURBATION'(!)(a non productive discussion)

I am not sure how far I am right but I feel this is so.

So both of you think that all the cases of ed pe and other problems that people attribute to masturbation are all figments of people's imagination?
Seriously you guys should not respond to serious queries at all.

My opinion is that for most this is an education issue.

Many people do have physical problems that need treatment,
and they mistakenly believe that masturbation has caused those
problems, but the problems still need treatment.

For basic edu one could refer them to google DR.WATSA the 90
year old Dr. who is the 'sexpert' columnist for the Mumbai Mirror-
and also google his facebook page.

Dr. Watsa finds that in India even older people who are educated
still have very little info on the basics. Quote below.

'But mainly, the people he hears from are worried men. They are worried about the size, shape and angle of their penises, and they are worried about impotence. They are worried about whether it is OK to fantasize about their friends' mothers. And they are endlessly, endlessly worried about whether they will damage themselves byMASTURBATING A FEAR
BORN OF SOME TRADITIONAL HINDU BELIEFS.

'Fifty per cent of my questions are about why their hair is not falling out,' Dr Watsa said. 'It is the zillionth time I have answered it.'

The son of a military doctor, Dr Watsa trained as an obstetrician and gynecologist and joined the ranks of the progressive activists at the Family Planning Association of India, which promotes sex education and the use of contraception. But even in that liberal-minded group, his focus on the quality of sexual life made him an outlier.

Amita Dhanu, a longtime colleague at the association, recalled the furor that resulted when Dr Watsa introduced human sexuality to the association's training sessions, illustrating his workshop with slides of erotic carvings from medieval Hindu temples. The response of the other activists, she said, was to say, 'This is basically pornography.

What some people call excessive is just normal but they don't know it. What I mean by
excessive is that it is an out of control habit that stops you from living your life.
