i have already read about a baby here who was having AD and was 21 month old. my so n is already on homeopathy medicine. but he is not cured yet. i read someone named Rishimba who was replying on forum. psorinum is given, first dose makes the difference and then everything is same again.kindly reply!worried and upset mom

Hello, I have 27months old son and he has been suffering from eczema since he was some days old. Typical symptoms are:
1) Eczema and extreme itching on lower legs, arms and outer thighs. Had on back as well, which is healed now. 2) Itching is really intense in the night. Disturbs sleep. 3) Eczema comes and goes..up and down at least 2-3 times a week. Once its better, he scrapes again for itching.. 4) Allopatheic doc prescribed cortisone cream, which we didnt use more than once or twice. 5) We have him on homeopathy treatment from PAKISTAN - Psorinum has helped and at one point, the eczema was completely gone. Did come back on again...doc gave him 1 dose each of 1) Psorunum 1M 2) Sepia and some other medicines again has helped but it keeps coming back again after every couple of days. 6) In general, our son is a happy baby. He is smart, active, quick learner and growing at normal pace. He eats normal, likes salty and sweet food. But have food allergy too.Likes yogurt. 7) Family history of allergies and eczema.

When he was two days old,he got jaundice,for that he was kept for phototherapy . And five days antibiotics were given.I felt it was all started after that.
There is family history of eczema from his father side.

At night it is worst.and itching is uncontrollable. He scratches a lot that sometimes skin bleeds.
7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
He can't tolerate fragrance.and if he comes to any smoky place his condition gets worse.
9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
Sometimes he feels relax during summer and winter both,but the condition becomes worse anytime because of the environment. And even in summers sometimes he feels cold and says switch off the fan.
10. Describe your general mental set up?
He is Moody, Mild, friendly n sometimes stubborn.
- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
He gets scared of it.
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? -
I hug him when he's scaredvof anything he feels better.
11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
He loves animals from far away,get scared of animals when they come closer,cat,dog etc....sometimes he says I'm falling when actually he's not.
12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
He loves everything sweet and salty both. He likes vegetables,fruits,etc.he is food allergic too. Chicken,chocolate,candy and anything with preservatives not suitable for him.

It becomes worst in humidity. He sweats normal but his body is warm in general and he scratches a lot on head when it sweats.

His remedy is MERC SOL.
Give him three doses of MERC SOL 30C on a single day and then stop to see if it created the right response. If there is a bit of aggravation, please don't panic. This is a test dose to see the response.
If we find that the response if favourable, his dosing pattern will be decided based on how long this dose set holds.
So, give him three doses on a single day, each dose 6 hours apart, in empty stomach. No food or water one hour before or after. One dose would be 3 drops of remedy in a spoonful of water sipped up slowly.
Take notes on the response and see how long this dose holds.Come back once his symptoms start relapsing.

Just to add further detail he has been given last dose of psorinum on 5th of September but thus time I don't notice any good difference till now. When should the prescribed med be given? I will definitely tell this medicine to his Dr.

Dr told Merc Sol is already given.it did not make any difference. Another thingi want to tell you these days weather here is hot still he feels cold sometimes. He doesn't like to take bath these days.but if he is in mood so he says himself for bath.
He is eating tissue too.

Please try MERC SOL 30C once again. Maybe his potency selection was not right.

It is also given. 28th Sep psorinum was given, 5th Sep Cal Carb was given,yesterday he hasgiven arsenic bromatum.

I would still say, you try out first with MERC SOL 30C as I don't know what potency he has suggested.
Also, giving high potency remedies in quick intervals is going to damage the case. I am afraid some suppression may have taken place.
For me, it was more or less a clear case of Merc sol.
Since your physician is looking after this case, please do whatever he suggests.
Please follow one physician's advice.
