Irregular periods

I have problem of irregular periods since my periods start. Initially i took medicien from alopathic doctor give me some hormones for three month, the regulate my period for some month but later it start disturbing again. Now condition is that i have periods after 1.5 or 2 months. Sometimes i have period exactly after 30 days and sometime there is late periods but i can fell pain after 30 days. I observer it happen when i do some regular walk. Now i consult and homopathic doctor. He give me Asoka, and gospium, after which my first period was 1 week late, now it has been 36 days i have not period yet. Should i continue these medicines? If these are not suitable for me then what should i use?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Pl ask a gynec to check if you have polycystic ovarian syndrome first and then treatment can be accordingly done.
