what dose?

what doses should you take if you are treating yourself?

my partner has put his symptoms in the grid and it has advised him on a remedy.

Please can anyone advise which dose to take?

thanks sonia

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
it advises on the label to take 2 pills x 6 doses in first day, then 2 x 2 doses everyday for 5 days.

can anyone advise please?

in acute illnesses - coughs, colds etc. you take one dose (1 pill/tablet) and if this helps then repeat another dose if/when the healing effect of the previous dose wears off.
this may be 10 mins later or several hours later.
when improvement starts reduce the frequency of doses and continue reducing with further improvement.
Once better, or much better, stop taking the remedy.
Only start again if symptoms return.

With more chronic ailments you need a homeopaths advice on dosing.

erica, i think my anxiety is rubbing off on him!!

for your husband he should take just one dose of the chosen remedy and then see if it helps - leave it then for a few weeks before reassessing. which remedy did he choose?
for you - I still think the lachesis is suitable for you. I am glad you are feeling a little better also.

thanks sonia

if he wants to take as it says on the bottle it is important only to carry on if it is helping.....if it is not helping then he will make the situation worse by continuing.

erica, do you think he should stop now then? what do you think about the remedy?

do you think he has took too many doses already? will this affect him in anyway, ie eill it make the symptoms worse. he is in a right grumpy mood today.

thanks sonia x

if it helps then continue. this means that if after taking the remedy his mood/anxiety improves then it is helping.
if he is worse, more anxious etc. after taking the remedy then it is not helping.
also, if there is no change after taking the remedy it is not helping.
