Iron and calcium supplement

Hi all! I hope you can help me. Yesterday I went to buy homeopathic iron and calcium supplement for my 14 mo from a pharmacy. They gave me ferrum phosphoricum 30 ch and calcarea fluorica 30ch by boiron and to take 1 capsule 3 times a day. But now I read about the supplements and they seem to be for mild fever, ear infections etc. so I am confused. Was I given wrong supplements? Thanks for your kind help

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
They are not supplements. They are full fledged medicines, used to treat various disease symptoms. Taking those as a supplement would be extremely dangerous, and will almost certainly create side effects.

There are no such thing as supplements in homoeopathy. You may be thinking of the Tissue Salts (or Cell Salts) which are named after various minerals found in the body. Tissue Salt Therapy isn't homoeopathy, and follows its own rules and philosophy.

Tissue salts are made a little differently, and are dispensed as very low potency (strength) substances. You will usually see them denoted as 3x, 6x, 12x etc. Anything with a C after it is not a tissue salt, but one of our potentized medicines.

Homeopathic medicines are not supplements.

They are prescribed based on matching symptoms of
a person.

You need to be careful giving calcium and iron supplements
( not homeopathic) as
they can have side effects.

You are better off just giving a general vitamin ( for
the age of the child)

If there is something wrong with your child, you can
put that info on here and someone can ask you questions
to determine what would be the correct remedy,
the correct potency and the correct dosing frequency
to heal the condition.
