23 Years of daily chronic diarreha

I am a 48 year old woman. I have GERD (reflux) and also I have suffered daily for the past 23 years with chronic diarreha. Both my mother and sister have the same condition. Family doctor has never pinpointed the problem and says it is in the family. It controls my life as well as my family as I can not go anywhere for fear I will not find or get to a bathroom in time. Recently I was told about Probiotics Advantage. A dear friend has purchased a six month supply for me to try. Has anyone else out there had this problem and if so, have you had any luck with Probiotics? Also, I take Prilosec OTC (1 x per day) for the acid reflux. I have not started the Probiotics yet as I am unsure if I can take it with the Prilosec or if I should stop the Prilosec first. The company where the Probiotics can not tell me anything that would help. If anyone can help, I sure would be greatful!!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Check if you are lactose intolerant - it may be as simple as that.

Under given checkups:
1 lactose intolerance
2 endoscopy of deudomen
3 3-5 regular stool test for paracite presence

these may confirm something.
ALl the best.
