4 year old child with loose motions , fever and mild vomitting .

Dear Dr's

We along with my child (4 years boy ) recently went out of town for 2 days via train and after we came back my child was suffering from vomiting , fever and loose motions. We had food on the train the previous night and he vomitted next early morning and then had fever along with loose motions. Since today morning , he has vomitted twice and took out food in vomit. Loose motions , he had been going 3 times. He has around 101 fever. Please advise urgently.

in 250ml of hot water add 10tabs each of Ferrum Phos 12x, Kali Mur 3x , Nat Sulp 3x and nat phos 3x mix it (u may keep the mixture in a bottle after it cool down ) give two tea spoon of the mixture in every half-hour to ur wife and in every hour to ur son.
report back after one day of taking medicine.

Also , I have nat phos 6x now and no shops are open now. Otherwise , can you suggest some other remedy as I have quite a lot with me.

sorry for that your wife do not need medicine that time i was in hurry .
give ur son nat phos 2 tabs in every hour
if u have aconite and belladonna tell me which potency u have.(if u have calc carb or Gelsemium Sempervirens let me know the potency )

give hive aconite and belladonna alternatively in every hour till the fever come down to less that 100F after that reduce the dose to 4 hour alternatively .
give the nat phos as i said.
6 hour let me know how is he doing

Hi gaintrox , his fever has gone down and loose motions as well. He has weakness and vomits upon eating.

When he vomits , his fever also goes up. He is feeling feeble

i waited for ur reply but u might be busy reply when u get time but reduce the dose medicine to only one dose of both medicine when u see this post.Aconite one dose at morning
belladonna before sleep.

Sorry Gaintrox , was travelling so couldn't update. Yeah , he feels better after vomiting as he feels light. His fever is better today , he had loose motions 4 times yesterday , vommitted today after having milk in the morning. He is feeling weak the same way.

give him nat phos 6x and calc phos 6x 2 tabs of each together in every two hour.No milk product,No oily food for 3-4 day .let me know how is he doing tomorrow.

Hi gaintrox ,

He is much better now. No vomiting , motions are better now though not fully cured. Fever isn't there now as well. He is playing normally now.

Please advise further course of action.

stop Aconite. give belladonna as
he is taking. and give only two dose of nat phos and calc phos a day .report back after two days.

Unfortunately , my dad who is around 73,is also having similar symptoms since yesterday. He is feeling feverish , loose motions around 7-8 times a day , feel like vomiting but haven't done yet. Also , he is having severe body aches .

He is also shivering with cold now as he has been for his motions thrice in one hour. He is also suffering from ulcerative colitis otherwise.

give him pulsatilla 30 if no relief in one hour give another dose otherwise in 3 hour. and also let me know is there blood in stool .

I have given him pulsatilla 30 and waiting to any improvent. I don't think that there is any blood in the stool. However , if there is any , I will let you know by checking it next time.

It has been one hour now since I gave him pulsatilla and he went for his last motion five minutes prior to that. He is scared of eating anything due to this only. It is night here around midnight and he is trying to sleep. So , not sue whether I will be able to give him 3 hourly dose. Maybe I will give him in the morning or if he is awake after 3 hours , I will give him again.

give him one more dose now after he wakes up give him medicine in every three hour.Tell him eat something light food(simple bread or rice with little curry or fruits other than pomegranate and banana) there is no
harm in that.

Have given him another dose since he got up from his sleep. It is 2 hours now since the the time I gave him the first dose. I will continue his dosage in the morning as he is going to sleep now.
