shall we give a two remedies at a time ad an antidotal in a hypersensitive patient when one remedy seems indicated for one side symptoms and other for other symptoms e.g if a clear symptoms of nux vom is a patient for abdominal cramps constipation and spermattorrhe and back pain. and syphilinum for strep throat pain in temples and head and other syphilitic symptoms. shall we cure a patient this way.if yes then how to give and if no then what to do when vital force is changing symptoms after a similar remedy is given both the remedies are antidote to sulphur. my vital force is producing symptoms of remedies which act as palliative. am i curable or incurable due to sulphur .

Laserjet 9 years ago
No you cannot cure that way. You can palliate that way, you can suppress that way, you can complicate cases that way, certainly.

Symptoms should not change after a similar is given, they should diminish or disappear. Change of symptoms is something else, usually related to the incorrect medicine. Partial similars can cause symptoms to shift around without cure of the patient.

Poor prescribing messes cases up, and it takes a skilled homoeopath to then unravel them.

There are many mistakes being made here, and it looks like your self-prescribing has made it even worse. Syphilinum for the symptoms of syphilis is a serious mistake. I am not sure where I would even start with this case.

Someone qualified and experienced needs to sort it out though, and quickly.

Did you email Rishimba?

simone717 9 years ago
thanks evocationer for clarifying the fact. then what to do how to process this case to successful cure is any other option to cure this type of patient who is over sensitive and feeble one. is there any alternative method of cure beside homeopathy. yes Simon i have emailed rishimba

Laserjet 9 years ago
I have never cured with anything other than homoeopathy, so I am not sure as to what to suggest.

One thing I would say though, is that the potencies being used are far too high. Low vitality can be overwhelmed easily by high potencies, and the patient can be put into a fatal decline. The only potencies being used here should be LM potencies or low ones around 6 or possibly 12c.

I think when a patient is overdrugged like this, and the decline is speeding up, one has to approach the case very carefully, with low potencies, very dilute dosing, but frequent use of the low potencies. Perhaps the Acid remedies could be appropriate, certainly some mineral remedies would help here I suspect. Perhaps even the Tissue/Cell salts (if used carefully and according to homoeopathic principles).

Evocationer 9 years ago
In fact, I have actually gone through the symptoms you have given, and I believe the remedy you are describing is Arsenicum. Based on your apparent low vitality, I would suggest either Arsencium album 0/1 (LM1) or 12c. Can you obtain either of these? LM1 would be my preference but we can work with either.

Evocationer 9 years ago
here the case is feeble due to olfaction dose of arsenicum album LM 0/1 when the case was certainly points to arsenicum and i used LM 0/1 by olfaction which jumbled the case. now the case points to nux vomica but if a take a nux vom it would act palliatively and not cure. i am sure the reason behind low vitality is due to arsenicum which gives me a pain in hips left shoulder and burning pain in arms it is this remedy which gives me a pain in throat and liver region sore after that remedy no remedy acts as a curative i used all the remedies by olfaction with only one dose and vital force is changing symptoms to the next remedy.

Laserjet 9 years ago
You didn't mention Arsenicum as being a problem. Of course you may want to avoid any remedy which has already caused long-term problems.

What do you mean by 'jumbled the case' though?

thank you evocationers please guide me i know you are the best in homeopathy .
1 is feeble vital force patient become normal when correct remedy is given.
2when to use idem in a case. if a best indicated remedy is given but it won't cure it only acts as palliative.
3.if the disease symptoms has been suppressed due to wrong remedies or partial similars. is idem remedy will cure these suppression.
4. can we repeat a dose in a 1m potency in feeble vital force patient.
5. what is behind this feebleness of vital force is it suppression of miams or a drug poisoning due to indicated remedies.
plz share your knowledge.

Laserjet 9 years ago
I appreciate the compliment, but I am hardly the best - perhaps competent, but only that. There are so many greater homoeopaths alive even today than me. I am a small fish lol.

"1. is feeble vital force patient become normal when correct remedy is given."

Yes, but not immediately. The vital force must be gently coaxed back to health, slowly strengthened. Even then, there will always be a limit based on the age of the patient and what has been done to them (organs removed for example).

This may take months or years to achieve. The younger the faster it happens as a general rule.

"2. when to use idem in a case. if a best indicated remedy is given but it won't cure it only acts as palliative."

I don't know what you mean by 'idem'.

"3. if the disease symptoms has been suppressed due to wrong remedies or partial similars. is idem remedy will cure these suppression."

Again I don't know what 'idem' is. The remedy that will cure suppression is the one that suits the prominent peculiar symptoms in the case. Apart from saying that, you would have to look at each case individually to know where to start looking and what to use for prescribing.

"4. can we repeat a dose in a 1m potency in feeble vital force patient."

If you wish to kill them. Anyone giving 1M to a patient with low vitality will probably send them into a decline that will require hospitalization, and even that might not save them. At best they will create a whole range of new symptoms to make their suffering even worse.

Low vitality patients should be given low potencies - LM1-4, 6c, perhaps 12c. Over time you can move upwards in potency as their vitality increases.

"5. what is behind this feebleness of vital force is it suppression of miams..."

I don't believe a miasm can be suppressed. The miasm is the pattern of the diseases that appear over a lifetime. It lies underneath all the diseases that manifest.

Suppression comes from treatment of local symptoms, application of remedies just for small parts of the case, often found in one part of the body. Suppression causes the disease to be driven back inwards and this weakens the vital force.

While suppression might activate or aggravate the miasm, you cannot apply a remedy to the miasm to suppress it. It is beyond suppression, as it is a pattern which is much deeper and beyond the ability of local prescribing.

"or a drug poisoning due to indicated remedies"

Now this is a strange thing to say. I assume you must mean too much of the correct remedy being given.

This shouldn't be a problem generally - although I might get you to expand on that a bit more so I can offer comment.

Evocationer 9 years ago
thank you evocationer. for your meaningful reply. i have some more queries for guide me .
1. in a chronic case if a previous dose of a miasmic remedy i.e in intercurrently application dose of nosode is interrupted accidently by some other remedy what to do in that situation in a low vitality patient.should we use another dose or should we use the indicated remedy. which was indicated before we use nosode.
2. should we use Intercurrent remedy in LM potency in frequently in a very feeble vital force patient.
3. is intercurrent nosode remedy capable to clear the symptoms caused by previous remedies when indicated but act as palliatively.
4. will antipsoric remedy cure syphilis if indicated

Laserjet 9 years ago
1. "in a chronic case if a previous dose of a miasmic remedy i.e in intercurrently application dose of nosode is interrupted accidently by some other remedy what to do in that situation in a low vitality patient.should we use another dose or should we use the indicated remedy. which was indicated before we use nosode."

It's hard to judge what to do here as a general rule. How did you know the nosode was 'interrupted' (I assume you mean antidoted here)? If the remedy was working and then suddenly stopped due to a poorly timed other medicine, the patient was able to tolerate the first dose of the nosode, and it is clearly still indicated, then there should be no reason not to give another dose assuming their vitality has not dropped lower.

However, I am not a fan of the idea of using 'intercurrents' especially nosodes. Miasm should be treated directly as part of the 'constitutional' prescription rather than tacked on as an afterthought by using another remedy. There has been extensive work done classifying remedies into miasmatic groups, so it is quite feasible to treat the miasm at the same time as the current symptoms.

Nosodes are complete remedies in and of themselves, and the nosode group has its own indications if someone actually needs one. I would only give one if the patient is displaying enough symptoms of the remedy to justify it.

2. "should we use Intercurrent remedy in LM potency in frequently in a very feeble vital force patient."

LMs are probably a good idea for any low vitality patient, assuming they are used carefully. Obviously considering my reservations about using 'intercurrents' at all, this may still not be safe for the patient.

3. "is intercurrent nosode remedy capable to clear the symptoms caused by previous remedies when indicated but act as palliatively?"

If used purely as an intercurrent, in the way people try to treat miasm separately from the rest of the case, then I would say no, because this is not proper prescribing.

The only remedy (or remedies) that will ever clear symptoms created by inappropriately prescribed previous medicines, is the one that suits those symptoms and the natural ones of the patient. Similarity is the only sure way to cure. Trying to use nosodes to do this without matching the specific peculiar symptoms is ALLOPATHY.

Evocationer 9 years ago
thanks evacationer for your guidance and i appreciate you for helping others .my further queries are
1. how to know the similimum where jumble of symptoms are caused by remedies in a sensitive patient.
2. if a nosode given intercurrently and if slow amelioration is seen if after repeating a dose causes salutary action and disrupt the natural symptom pattern should we give constitutional remedy again or something else.
3. is cure possible in a psoric patient which becomes a feeble due to repeating wrong remedies.
4. is feebleness of vital force be restored to an orginal state as was before homeopathic treatment.
5. is any mode of therapy cures miasms.

Laserjet 9 years ago
1. how to know the similimum where jumble of symptoms are caused by remedies in a sensitive patient.

Indeed, this is difficult. How you approach the case depends on a lot of things, but ultimately a 'jumble' of symptoms is really just a perception in most cases. To one homoeopath a jumble is unworkable, to another a puzzle to be solved.

Finding the core of a case is usually the best way to handle these cases, and if the core can be uncovered and treated many of those other symptoms will resolve on their own. Treating the central disturbance (the vital force) means that you can often ignore the multitude of little symptoms. This idea of a 'core' or 'totality' when applied properly, means that many of those apparently unconnected symptoms are actually part of a bigger picture. But there are different ways to approach these cases. One might divide the case into sections, looking at it in terms of what is most serious or most important, and solve it piece by piece. One might look at remedies from specific groups, or from all the various kingdoms, or made from drugs that appeared to instigate the problem.

i just need your one more advise if a patients disease is cured by proper remedy and after the aggravation of disease symptoms in a highly sensitive person if during aggravation one more dose is applied and there was a relapse of symptoms which was cured by that remedy how to antidote this remedial disease in a highly sensitive feeble patient. which is more intense than natural disease which was cured previously
2. if a female partner contracts the syphilis from male partner how to cure her disease if she was previously cured by their constitutional remedy.
3. is she be cured by their constitutional remedy or that remedy which cured by a male partner
4. how to increase the vitality in a low vitality patient.
5. how to antidote constitutional remedy when no other remedy is indicated

"if a patients disease is cured by proper remedy and after the aggravation of disease symptoms in a highly sensitive person if during aggravation one more dose is applied and there was a relapse of symptoms which was cured by that remedy how to antidote this remedial disease in a highly sensitive feeble patient. which is more intense than natural disease which was cured previously "

This would be a shame, and I would wonder why another dose was given if someone was cured?

IF it is simply a proving of the remedy, you would have to assess the danger the patient is in. If it is severe, you must antidote as soon as possible, using a remedy that suits the symptoms the patient is displaying BUT is not the same remedy OR is the same remedy but is a lower potency. Whether you used the same remedy or a different one would depend on how many peculiar symptoms are now showing relating to a specific remedy. RETAKE the case carefully and in detail to know what to do here.

IF the case was not actually cured but just palliated, repeating the dose can simply undo the palliation, and palliation often leads to a worsening of the original symptoms. This could also be a sign of suppression (in which case the repetition of the remedy was not responsible but coincidental). Here it is important again to RETAKE the case and find a better remedy.

Feeble patients shouldn't be feeble if cured. Cure cannot include remaining feeble. I would be doubting the declaration of cure in such a situation.

"if a female partner contracts the syphilis from male partner how to cure her disease if she was previously cured by their constitutional remedy."

Being cured in the past has nothing to do with curing a current complaint. The same rules apply - take the symptoms, give the most similar remedy, watch for changes and manage the case. Healthy people can still catch diseases, although often it is a better outcome for them than if they were still unhealthy.

So there is no difference to any other situation here, take the case, match the peculiar symptoms to a remedy, and find a potency that suits. With syphilis you want to be sure you do not suppress, and secondary and tertiary syphilis are very serious consequences.

It might be that her last remedy becomes indicated again, but just as likely that a new remedy would be indicated. There is no way to predict which .

" how to increase the vitality in a low vitality patient."

Cure of the patient cures low vitality. It make take time, and often has to be a gradual thing. Low potencies, given when needed, and a slow increase of potency as the signs show it is appropriate. As you move up in potency so too does the strength of the patient increase, and as the vitality increases you can increase the potency.

Other things will do this as well - exercise, good diet, clean water, clean environment, sunshine, fresh air, yoga, meditation etc.

"how to antidote constitutional remedy when no other remedy is indicated"

That would be unlikely I think. Symptoms are the only way to antidote. There are ALWAYS several choices based on the symptoms, for any prescription, so there should be other options based on those symptoms. Perhaps looking at the known antidotes might help, or even inimical or complementary medicines.

Of course the real question should be 'do you actually need to antidote?'. It is better to treat the symptoms that worry about why it is happening if you are not sure what is happening. Cases relapse for all sorts of reasons - working this out is probably important in the long run.

if a given antidote which is written in materia medica i.e nux vomica antidotes syphilinum but when i takes a nux vomica to antidote syphilinum symptoms it also causes proving symptoms .now after a waiting period of 20 days i have seen cropping of drug symptoms day by day but i am worsening in another way i have suffering from joint pain in fingers and wrist. severe eye pain which is a syphilinum symptoms and i experience a relapse of those symptoms which has been cured. it is caused due to untimely repetition of remedy. plz advise me how to approach cure in this case.
2.is it possible to reverse the damage caused by remedy when used in a high potency.one more thing i have used olfaction dose of all the remedies mentioned above.will syphilnum forms a own layer in vital force.
3. should we undo the reaction caused by syphilinum high. i experience a most severe pain on those organs which was already attacked by the natural diseae

sir evacationer
1. if a weak dose of a right remedy is taken and the slow amelioration is followed should we repeat a dose in a feeble vital force patient
2 if a remedy is exhausted its action now the vital force is doing the work slowly should we repeat a dose in a 200 potency by olfaction. if previous dose were given in 1m potency by olfaction method.
3. why LM potency is not readily available in a local shops.
4 should we repeat a dose of remedy when little symptom of right remedy is shown which causes much distressing.

Hi Laserjet,

He never denies answering queries. He lost track
of your thread. People get email alerts on
threads, and sometimes they do not work.

If you do not get an answer, just post a couple
words, like Bumping up , or up to the top,
and that puts your thread up to the top of the
forum-sometimes people have to do this a few times-
but eventually he will see the thread and
answer you.

( if you are in India, he won't know about
what goes on in local shops) as he is in Australia.
You can try this company for LM in India-

I have a lot of cases to manage here as well as my own clinic. While I enjoy discussing homoeopathy, I cannot always continue these long discussions about philosophy and method. If I have periods where I am less busy I can continue to answer questions.
