Issue with stool - pass

Hi Doctors

I have an issue. In the morning time I do not feel pressure to go for washroom.

When I sit for sometime , then some stool is released , however, it's not fully cleared.

I again need to go for another 4/5 times a day & sit 15 min per event to clear it off.

I take 2/3 times tea(with milk/with sugar-free) with two/3 biscuits in the morning. Around 1 pm I usually take lunch with cooked Vegetables , cooked fish , however, I feel heaviness in my stomach.

I also take youghurt some times as well. Pl advise.My stool is very soft , blackish - however I need to push to get it off from my body

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please click on my username to know about me. It will help you establish the reliability of what is written below. I am very careful about the sources where I gather info from. I gather it mostly from universities or government sources. Read this article & educate yourself. Taking remedies without taking the complete symptom picture is most likely to fail and make things worse.

If you want to be healthy, be at an optimum weight, have great digestive system, be full of energy and a great sex drive then you can follow the below guidelines for 3 months and the results will speak for themselves. Overweight people have shown a decrease of approx. ½ to 1 lb per week following these guidelines till they reached the optimum weight for their bodies.

But before you try to follow these you have to know what is the difference between a “Diet” and “Lifestyle Change”.

A “diet” is only for a few days e.g. soup diet, vegetable diet etc. These are not sustainable and sooner or later people get sick of them and revert to their old ways & habits and loose whatever benefits they gained!

A “lifestyle change” on the other hand consists of sensible & conscious choices that you make which you know will last a lifetime because these are choices which show results slowly but surely and permanently.

DIETARY GUIDELINES:
1. Eat 5 walnuts a day. Walnuts should be in their shell till the time you are going to eat them. Pre-shelled nuts go rancid and are harmful instead of being healthy. Walnuts help boost HDL (good cholesterol) which cleans and removes the plaque deposits from your arteries.
2. Eat 5 almonds a day. Almonds should be in their shell till the time you are going to eat them. Pre-shelled nuts go rancid and are harmful instead of being healthy. Almonds provide several essential nutrients especially Vitamin-E which reduces inflammation in your body, improves your immune system and makes heart healthy. Almonds also make sex drive stronger.
3. Eat a raw clove of garlic everyday by crushing it or chopping it into fine pieces and letting it sit for 10 minutes. Doing this makes the garlic super potent in helping you fight inflammation. It’s the best known naturally occurring antibacterial & antifungal.
4. Start eating half cup of low fat, unsweetened, non-flavored yogurt with live cultures daily in the morning or with lunch. If you have homemade yogurt that’s the best. NOTE: Yogurt can cause increased mucus generation in some individuals, if you are like that, don’t eat yogurt. Rather start eating roasted black chick peas (also known as Bengal Gram) daily.
5. Stop all processed foods e.g. white bread, white rice, white burgers etc.
6. Stop adding sugar to your tea, milk etc. Basically, stop eating sugar, eat natural sweets e.g. fruits.
7. Eat whole foods only i.e. whole grain bread, brown rice, brown burgers etc.
8. The bread should be high in bran content & the flour should be coarse ground.
9. Start eating a small bowl of salad at least once a day or ideally twice a day. it should contain cucumber, carrots, salad leaves, tomato and any vegetable you like. Put a dressing of olive oil & raw apple cider vinegar and put some salt & black pepper to your liking. You can put some freshly unshelled almonds or walnuts on your salad too.
10. Eat at least 1-2 fruits per day e.g. apple, orange etc.
11. Drink enough water so that your urine is clear. Yellow colored urine is a good indication that you are dehydrated.
12. Eat only when hungry and when eating, don’t overstuff yourself.
13. Focus on food only when you eat i.e. don’t divert your attention by watching tv etc.

CONSTIPATION:
If you suffer from constipation, you need to understand the difference between SOLUBLE and INSOLUBLE fiber. If you have a tendency towards constipation then in addition to the abovementioned guidelines for diet, you need to add INSOLUBLE fiber. A few good sources of insoluble fiber are broccoli, whole wheat, bran, husk etc. This fiber stimulates good bowel movement.
SOLUBLE fiber on the other hand slows down digestion. A few good sources of soluble fiber are apple, oats, banana etc. If you want to REDUCE CHOLESTEROL then consume soluble fiber. You can search the internet for more info on these fiber types.

EXERCISE GUIDELINES:
1. Aerobic activity e.g. Start walking at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week with your spouse/friend and achieve your TARGET HEART RATE.
2. Strength training e.g. Start weight training at least 20 minutes 3 days a week.
NOTE: If you have a physical injury or other issues, consult your physician before embarking on the strength training. Search internet to know what is Target Heart Rate for exercise.

I advise to use “Raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized, apple cider vinegar” because it contains the wholesome goodness of vinegar not spoiled by processing. Same approach is used for yogurt, no artificially sweetened, processed, flavored yogurt, just have it as close to the way it naturally comes as possible.
I advise to use almonds & walnuts which are in their shell till you want to eat them because pre-shelled nuts become rancid and do damage to your body instead of benefit.

Having had constipation issues for most of my life -- during times my diet was at its worst and I was eating starches which turn to sugar for breakfast and dairy (like you) and not getting enough liquid, I found the permanent solution was to make SURE to drink 500 mls of water, ideally with lemon juice, first thing in the morning.
(Ideally you should eliminate caffeine in the morning but I still have a cup of coffee.)Then throughout the day for breakfast and for lunch (or at minimum, for breakfast) have as much raw fruit as you want. I sometimes have 4 oranges or 6 or 8 small tangerines or other water rich fruit - as much as I want.

If you do this in the AM and you haven't been eating constipating foods late at night (dairy, meat, refined starches, eggs and sugars), you will have easy effortless stools. You will have less gas and bloating and your stools will have less offensive odor.

The reason it is called breakfast is that you are breaking a fast from not having eaten since the day before at dinner time. Any fast should be broken gently with easily digestible food. Fruit is the easiest for humans to digest. Our digestive tracts are 98 percent identical to gorillas and they are frugivores. If we REALLY wanted to be "disease" free and full of robust health, all we'd eat would be raw fruit, raw vegetables and a few raw nuts and seeds. If the truth be told, that is also the definitive healing diet. It is certainly the diet you want to strive towards if you want to improve your health.

Cutting out the constipating foods which are also acid forming will really help your body eliminate toxic matter. This is something that many homeopaths miss.

Constipating foods include, dairy, cooked foods especially: refined wheat and even cooked whole grains; meat, poultry, fish; sweets: candy, cakes and even cooked legumes.

With homeopathy, you can't eat all the junk food in the world; and expect a remedy to magically and permanently fix all your ills. It may do this temporarily but you still need to address the CAUSE of the problem which is toxic acid waste build up from eating too much acid forming food. Your body and digestive tract need to be alkaline.

When I learned this it all made so much sense!

Homeopathy can alleviate the symptoms safely for a while but to get rid of the problem once and for all, you need to clean up the insides of your body (as does everyone that isn't in perfect health).
