The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Anyone not too busy to take on a new case?

Anyone willing to take on new cases? I'd like to get a fresh perspective on my youngest. At some point I may ask for help for myself and my oldest, as well, but at the moment, the oldest is my primary concern.
I do have the handicap of being extremely limited on finances, so there will likely be times where I may not be able to obtain a particular remedy or will be delayed on getting it.
Here is his thread, what we have tried so far, etc:
http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/422435/
He is about 20 months old.
At the moment, my primary complaints with him are that he has never slept well, waking about 5-10 times a night, needing nursed or comforted back to sleep, since birth.
He is working on his 2 year molars right now, and teething has always been difficult and painful for him. Seems like it takes too long, too, although that could be just because he is so miserable that it seems like it takes forever.
Whenever he is sick or teething, which seems like one or the other is always happening, he will go off his feed. He has never been a good eater, preferring to nurse instead, and is maybe a tad on the thin side. When he doesn't feel well he almost refuses to eat altogether. The things he will eat at that time are only carbohydrates---dry, crunchy sort of things.
He has a lot of things that bug him. Scratchy clothes make him cry to try to put them on him. He doesn't like squishy or runny food. He hates milk. He hates going to bed. He hates diapering time. He is disturbed by anything out of place, even a drop of water dripping down his chin after he takes a drink.

I'll leave it at that for now, but I can fill out a questionnaire if you like.
Thanks in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi Alaska mom,

If you have not tried cell salts, I would try them.

Silica for his skin, Cal Phos and Cal Flour for teething
issues and delayed teething.

If he is always in some type of pain due to the skin
sensitivity alone, and obviously can't tell you that,
that needs to be handled bc it causes so many other
behaviors.

You can use 6x of each of those salts, and start with
one tab of each, 3 times a day. You can dissolve in
a little water or dropper it in his mouth if you want.

You can get from Vitacost online- they get to you
in a few days- there are 12 salts in all, they work
on the cell balance, I use them a lot, sometimes
that is all you need.

Homeo.mzp has a different approach to me, and has some success with it as evident from his cases on the board here. I think he could give you the different perspective you need (from mine).

I hope he can help.

Thanks Evocationer, I hope you don't mind. I know you suggested I try others here on other occasions, so I'm going to give it a shot.
Homeo.mzp, thank you, sounds good.
Simone, thanks for that! I'll look into it.

Homeo mzp has his list of questions, so if nothing works, I would try the salts.

Good luck.

after 4 days of stopping other homeopathic medicines,

give BORAX VENETA 30c liquid, 2 drops in a tablespoon water, 3 times a day for 2 days,

{if buying pills then 2 pills, 3 times 2 days, dissolved in a tablespoon water}

dnt eat or drink anything 30 minutes before and after medicine,

report how felt in sleeping, restlesness, appetite, cheerfulness and mental freshness after 15 days of stopping the course,

thanks..

Is Borax Veneta the same as just Borax? I do have Borax 30c in pills on hand.
He does tend to aggravate on pretty much anything. Would it be good to dilute the dose? And do you recommend I stop the doses if he does aggravate?

alaskamom 9 years ago
yes same borax, no diluation (only dissolved in tablespoon water) total 6 doses to be given, no stopping.

then to observe both physical and mental changes till 15 days.

thanks..

Ok, thank you.

Just as a reminder, we tried Borax 30c on him back in May last year - 3 doses total I believe.

Which isn't to say that trying again may not work this time around of course.

Yep, I did recall trying the Borax. I figured I'd give it another go.

plz click on my username and visit my website then do TONGUE DIAGNOSIS of your baby for 4 days early morning after wakeup then report his tongue colour.

thanks..

homeo.mzp 9 years ago
I can certainly try. I have read about tongue diagnosis and know the very very basic rudiments of it. (Red and flame-shaped = heat, pale and flabby = cold and stagnant dampness, etc.) My only problem is getting a 20 month old to stick out his tongue, and stick it out long enough to study the surface of it. I will see what I can do, though.

I haven't been able to get much of a look at his tongue. So far as I can tell though, it seems normal, medium pink, with a very faint white coating that seems to be from the middle toward the back.

alaskamom 9 years ago
ok how is he doing after giving borax any positive response ??

homeo.mzp 9 years ago
His mood seems better, not as clingy and whiny. Still not eating anything other than carbs, and still sleeping the same as always. Yesterday he skipped his nap and went to bed early, then was awake for an hour in the middle of the night (besides all his usual wakeups).

alaskamom 9 years ago
means waked only 1 time in a night.

homeo.mzp 9 years ago
No, he woke probably 5 or 6 times total, but one of those times, he was awake for about an hour. The other times, he nursed back to sleep in 5 minutes or so.

alaskamom 9 years ago
Well, he ended up having kind of a bad day mood-wise today. He was whiny and cranky.

alaskamom 9 years ago
monitor for 5 days more then report.

thanks..

homeo.mzp 9 years ago
OK will do.

So, his sleep is the same, except that he dropped his naps, and is now going to bed at a reasonable hour (around 7pm), and getting up around 7am. That is really fabulous for us--I no longer have to stay up until 10, 11, 12pm to wait for him to be exhausted enough to fall asleep.
He still wakes up about 5-10 times a night like normal.
His appetite is very poor. All he wants to eat are crunchy snacks (carbs). That's pretty unchanged from before the remedy. He just nurses a lot, and honestly I think he would stay asleep more if he would eat better. I work part-time, so I'm gone part of the day, and so it seems like he nurses all night to make up for it. I don't know if that's true, but he sure doesn't take in enough calories in the day food-wise. He doesn't like milk, so I can't get calories in him that way. He just drinks water. So the nursing is how he makes up for it.

good news at last, atleast some improvement that your baby is slowly geeting in proper sleeping routine.

if you wish i can do medical astrology examination of your baby, to tell whether any specific planet is effecting his health, for this tell his birthdate, birth timing and birth location.

report improvement as advised.

thanks..

homeo.mzp 9 years ago
Sure, sounds fine to me. Can I post his birthdate/info in a private message somehow, so that it's not on a public forum?

alaskamom 9 years ago
yes you are right, dnt post it here, email it to me.
