Please describe the color, consistency and smell of her urine when she has episodes of protein leakage.

Can you compare the smell of her urine with something known for better understanding?

What are the things that make her happy and what are those that make her sad or angry?

Can you describe her positive and negative shades of her nature / personality as a child in about 10 adjectives?

What's peculiar about her as a person/child?

How is her energy level? Is she very active throughout the day or tends to sit and watch TV sitting in one place?

What is the smell of her sweat? Is it sour or pungent? Does she wet her pillow while sleeping?

Have you ever noticed her chewing on pencil ends, chalk, soil or anything indigestible?

Does she like going out or travelling in a car or jeep?

Please describe the color, consistency and smell of her urine when she has episodes of protein leakage.

yellowish, thicker than general with hard smell

Can you compare the smell of her urine with something known for better understanding?

I tried to figure it out but cant resemble with anything I remember.

What are the things that make her happy and what are those that make her sad or angry?

She loves to do the things she likes, no interference otherwise she gets angry. We have to get things done from her telling her stories of anything. She loves buying new cloths ,toys, candy like any child. will cry for anything she wants and not getting it. need lot of love.
Will not forget the episode for 2-3 days ,even when she is sleeping if we scold her for anything. This is bit surprising for us. she does not allow her elder sister to sit in my lap otherwise she will cry like anything.

Can you describe her positive and negative shades of her nature / personality as a child in about 10 adjectives?

Fair, Cheerful, talented (sharp memory),Naughty, Sharp, quick-witted, unparalleled, jealous, stubborn, remarkable, moody, big time lier,

What's peculiar about her as a person/child?

She is outstanding personality who wont let you get bored with her talks but real tough to Handle sometimes. we have to follow many times whatever she says whether right or wrong.

How is her energy level? Is she very active throughout the day or tends to sit and watch TV sitting in one place?

She is active but I feel lack of energy in her , can play for the 2-3 hours continuously but prefer watching TV sitting at one place, does not want to climb stairs and walk on her own foot. She always says " daddy, I am tired now or I will get tired. Please pick me up"

What is the smell of her sweat? Is it sour or pungent? Does she wet her pillow while sleeping?

wont be able to comment on smell of her sweat since I never felt it unusual but yes, her pillow gets wet if air-conditioner is switched off in summer

Have you ever noticed her chewing on pencil ends, chalk, soil or anything indigestible?

nope

Does she like going out or travelling in a car or jeep?

Yes, very fond of but to a new place. Car or Jeep is no more new to her .she may be more happy in an auto-rikshaw or a rickshaw.

Please start treatment with a single dose of TUBERCULINUM 1M on a single day morning.

One dose will be 3 drops of remedy in a tablespoon of water sipped up in empty stomach.Let her sleep for another 2 hours after taking this dose.

She will have to repeat Tuberculinum a few times later once a month if her response is partial.

Let me know once in 15 days any change in her personality and her renal symptoms.

rishimba 9 years ago
Thanks, Rishimba !!

I have a question and I hope you wont mind asking me this here.
I read on abchomeopathy.com ,"Tuberculinum is indicated in renal affections, but caution is necessary, for where skin and intestines do not perform normally even high potencies are dangerous. In chronic cystitis, brilliant and permanent results ( Dr. Nebel Montreux)."

So is it safe to be given to her?

Regards

raj_Delhi 9 years ago
No problems with 1M potency.

She is a Tuberculinum child which is evident by her nature and has renal symptoms covered by Tuberculinum. This is the only remedy that will cure her permanently.

1M potency is quite safe to start with a single dose.

Thanks, Rishimba!!

I have consulted many doctors and you are the first to say so confidently that this is the medicine that can cure her permanently.
you may get disappointed to know this but I need to let you know that I have not given her the medicine as recommended by you yet, reason being that we started her homeopathic treatment same day I wrote on your forum for the first time March 2nd 2015. he is a well known doctor here in Delhi,India. He has given her Lycopodium 30 and Gebapentin 30 its been almost 10 days but I do not see any relief . I informed the same to him today he asked me to wait for at least 21 days before giving any other medicine to her, don't know why he said this but I cant afford my child to loose protein in her urine ,scared if it can damage her kidneys if left untreated.

once again, I would reiterate here that I trust you and definitely want to go ahead with your treatment otherwise I would not have been writing to you.
Please advise if I should wait or give 1 dose of Tuberculinum to her in between. Will this create any trouble If I give her your medicine in between his course.

If you have started treatment with your local physician, its best to do what he asks you to do. Its not right to disturb the curing effects of remedies by taking other remedies during the same period. This may spoil the case.

If its been 10 days already and there has been absolutely no response, I don't think there would be any further response with 30C potency.

I guess your local physician thought she was a lycopodium child by looking at her dominant nature. You may tell him during your second visit that lycopodium children don't look forward to any change. Your daughter gets bored very soon with things and places. So, mentally, she seems to be a tuberculinum child.

Thanks, Rishimba.

whatever you said does make sense to me. I will talk to her physician ,though some do not like, when I visit her next within a day or two.

Hi Rishimba,

I hope I am not making things mixed up by discussing my wife's case here

She was admitted in hospital in December 2014 with complaint of Severe Diarrhoea with Mucus in stool and pain in right hand finger .diagnosed with Colitis, Doctors call it intermittent colitis as it is not ulcerative colitis not Crohns disease but I feel her Symptoms go more towards Crohns. She was treated with Steroids that time . They controlled her stomach but created another problems like Hives all over the body and pain in all joints. She has Uvitis (eye inflammation) problem and joints pain (palms, feet and knees).Doctors call it auto immune disorder.

Currently she is off the medicines

Is there any medicine which can help here to cure IBD ?

Please let me know if you need more information about her.

FYI.. she has thyroid since last 5-7 years and 15-17 years back she had suffered from Typhoid and was running on heavy antibiotic doses . This took almost a month. I relate this to making her current intestine's health ..Please advise

Rishimba -Lycopodum 30c that was being given by her Doctor did not work at all . Her medicine got finished yesterday and her doctor is out of town for a week so I decided to give her Tubrculinum 1M today..per your instruction I gave medicine to her in the morning today. let see how it works for her. I will let you know.
BY the way ..should I expect some result within 2-4 days.
Please advise.

Warm Regards

raj_Delhi 9 years ago
You must wait for 15 days minimum as this is a high potency remedy. In such cases, changes will be gradual and she needs to repeat the remedy once a month for some months for complete cure.

Let me know once every month.

I hope you will start observing gradual changes in her nature in the next two to three days. Once you see changes in her behavior, this will be an indication that the remedy will gradually help in her physical affections as well.

Thanks, Rishimba !!

Even I do want a permanent cure and don't want to put her on steroid for temporary relief but is it okay to wait as she had been loosing protein in urine since last 1.5 months . Do you think if waiting too long may do more damage to her kidneys?
Please advise.

Definitely I will keep a watch on her nature and we do check level of protein leakage twice a day. I will keep you posted.

raj_Delhi 9 years ago
Rishimba- looks like Tuberculinum did not work out for her.. Her protein level started to go towards
3+/4+ that was really scary for me . had stopped the medicines being given to her but started it again it is now 1+/2+ . I Circled round the same place where I was :(

raj_Delhi 9 years ago
This problem will not reduce with one dose of Tuberculinum, especially when she is already dependent on medicines.

Tell me, did you see any change in her mentally after Tuberculinum was given?

rishimba 9 years ago
Hi Rishimba,

A very amazing thing happened here , I thought I should share with you . 2 days back, in the evening I checked her protein level was 2+. Next morning Sample was sent to Lab. and it shows Trace , I was surprised, I checked it again today morning , It is Trace again. I was happy to see that but it would be too early to say that She got cured.
She took only three medicines in last 1 month. Tuberculinum 1M as advised by you, We did not give her any medicine to her for next few days but when the protein level went high (may be hit on the nail kind of thing, but we got scared). We again started the medicines which were running earlier, Lycopodium 30 and Gebapentin 30.
Don't know which one cured her for now.
Is there anything worong if we give her Tuberculinum 1M, one dose /month along with these medicines.

Please advise.

Regards

raj_Delhi 9 years ago
If you give two remedies during the same period, you will never know which remedy is actually producing the response. Also, its not advisable to give two remedies as the response may be mixed and may surface new symptoms.

Better to give Lyco 30C for some weeks and check her protein levels once a week. If things worsen, you can then stop Lycopodium and start Tuberculinum. You can check again after 10 days of giving Tuberculinum.

rishimba 9 years ago
Thanks, Rishimba !! I will keep you posted here.

Hi Rishimba,

I was expecting to get it better but when checked today again it came 2+ :(
The only thing that was changed in last few days that I had given her Aconite for Cold . I know Aconite works in initial stage of this problem .
Do you think Aconite brought down the level of her inflammation .
Please advise. Need your help here because there was something that took down the level of Protein in her Urine .I am trying to figure out .That me ay be her medicine .

Warm Regards

raj_Delhi 9 years ago
I don't think Aconite will help here in the long run. This problem needs a deep acting remedy.

I wanted to know if her mentals had changed a bit after taking a dose of Tuberculinum? If you have not noticed, please observe it once you give her a dose of Tub. If you really note a change, it is an indication that Tub will cure her in the long run.

rishimba 9 years ago
Sorry for the delay here. We did notice some changes in her behavior.. she is bit softer now and does not get so rigid for anything as she used to be .
That's all I can say and have observed as of now.
As I said earlier , protein level in her urine was trace (for 2 days only) after 17-18 days of giving Tuberculinum to her.

raj_Delhi 9 years ago
Please repeat Tuberculinum 1M every 3 weeks. If you have noticed a change in her behavior, physical changes should occur in due course.

Did you continue Lycopodium as suggested by your homeopath? What is the result?

When did you give the last dose of Lycopodium and the last dose of Tuberculinum?

rishimba 9 years ago
I had give Tuberculinum to her just once on March 23.Lycopodium did not work out and The doctor changed the Medicines .He gave Ars 6 to her and 1 more medicine (I cant read that name on his prescription).

Rishima- I know some homeopaths following Sir Hanneman believe in single remedy for a Disease while other give mixtures. My question here is if there is any harm in giving Tuberculinum while running on other medicines?
Reason I am asking this is you are not local and close to me in case of any emergency but still I trust your treatment so want to continue with that too. I hope you can understand the situation.
