Based on modalities, Sulphur should work.

We will find the next best if it doesn't.

Hello, please advise further. I gave two doses of sulpher. The rash is better by at least 50%, only slightly itchy. Sleeping is still very poor, but there were a couple of days of improved sleeping. The rash is not improving any more, nor getting worse. It has been at least two weeks since last dose. Her confidence seems improved as well, about 50% as well. Thank you very much.

Good to know she is doing better. So, how long did the dose-set hold? You have to dose her in the same potency in an appropriate interval, based on how many days this potency holds.

Based on your feedback we will decide on the above.

Hi, it is hard to say how long the dose held for. The sleeping was somewhat better for two days and then reverted. The rash improved very quickly, also within 2-3 days, but has not improved any more. We were very busy the last couple of weeks, and I did not have a chance to post an update. The rash gets worse after a bath, but otherwise has not begun to deteriorate. Do we need to wait for it to get worse or is the lack of improvement a sufficient enough indicator? The confidence comes and goes, but seems overall improved by at least 50%. There are terrible meltdowns when she is hungry or tired, with similar refusing to do anything behaviour as before, but there have been new situations in which she felt comfortable to be herself. There have also been situations in which she refused to do some things, but participated in other things. Previously, she would have refused everything. I gave two doses 6 hours apart. Does this answer the question sufficiently?

Please give weekly doses of SULPHUR 200C for at least three weeks.

Let me know after three weeks. I can understand she needs more of this remedy to get well fully.

Her mentals have improved along with physical symptoms and then she has entered a plateau. This is an indication, she needs further dosing for some time.

Thank you. can you suggest a remedy for an ear infection? She keeps getting them about every three months after a cold. last time before now was inJanuary. Both ears each time, previously it would be only one ear. she very rarely complains of thepain.thank you

Dora14 9 years ago
It would depend on her mental state as well. So, you can come back here during ear infections and describe all her mental and physical symptoms. Hopefully, a remedy will be indicated.

She has an ear infection right now, that is why I am asking. She is more or less herself. Slightly more irritable, almost no appetite, rarely complains about pain, even though the indications are that there should be a lot of pain. I'm hoping not to give her antibiotics.

Can you answer the following questions..

1. How is her thirst? Less or more?

2. Please ask her how does she actually feel in the ears?

3. Is there any discharge from the ears?

4. What makes the pain worse and what makes it better?

5. Can you describe her 'irritability'? Is she changeable in her behavior?

6. Is she clingy or just irritable?

Hi,
1. Not very thirsty, definitely not more. If less, it is very slight.
2. Right now she says that the ears do not hurt. When asked about the pain she felt earlier, she described it as pulsating and once or twice as sharp stabs. This was for a short time.
3.No discharge
4.I think the pain is worse when she is hungry or tired, as she is particularly irritable during those times. Pressure on the ears makes it worse. Bending, lowering, shaking head or jarring it do not make any difference.
5. She is very short tempered, not all the time, but when denied something or reprimanded, she is very easily offended, can run off and hide and pout. She does that normally when she is very hungry or tired, but right now, she is doing it even when she should not be feeling hungry or tired, so her stamina is low. She varies between pleasant and miserable in these situations, can whine and yell.
6. Does not seem particularly clingy, rather slightly more irritable, as if she had reduced capacity for tolerance of discomfort.

Thank you

Try CHAMOMILLA 30C once every 4 hours only four doses. If the pain gets relieved after one or two doses, don't give the rest of the doses or give it once in 8 hours for a day more.

After giving four doses, you need to wait for a day and then let me know her condition. Don't overdose.

Hi, Rishimba.

It looks like she's not better. We gave her all four doses, and there was some slight decrease in pain yesterday, but overall she's not better, and the pain has returned.

She is definitely less thirsty, more clingy and whiny. Impatient.

If Chamomilla hasn't worked, Pulsatilla will. Moreover you are now telling me she is less thirsty and more clingy. This again points to Pulsatilla.

You have to give Pulsatilla 200C, just 3 doses, each dose 4 hours apart and then wait and watch her symptoms for next 48 hours. In case her pain starts getting better after the 1st of 2nd dose, don't give the rest of the doses.

Repeat dosing only if symptoms relapse.

Thank you for the suggestions. Im not sure whether the remedy is helping. She seems more whiny today, less tolerance for discomfort, the pain is possibly worse and a very slight fever. Any suggestions? Thank you

Dora14 9 years ago
If you have already given her Pulsatilla, you need to wait. One of the two remedies should work for her.

Hello. Pain is much worse this morning, fever and now vomiting. Any ideas?

Dora14 9 years ago
What was the last remedy and dose potency she had taken and when?

If earache is accompanied by nausea, Dulcamara may be tried.

rishimba 9 years ago
Pulsatilla 200 3 doses on the 18th

Dora14 9 years ago
OK, please wait for a day and see if the pains are decreasing. Look up Dulkamara if it describes your child to some extent...especially the mind and her modalities.

rishimba 9 years ago
Unfortunaly, she became too unwell to wait, she was lethargic and not hearing, and we used antibiotics. Hopefully, the next time, we will have more time to work with. I gave two doses of colubrina for vomiting, and it really worked.
I would appreciate more advice regarding the rash. It has worsened again after pulsatilla, like it did after the first few doses of pulsatilla 200. It is dry and itchy again, and it has been a week since the sulpher. You advised weekly doses for three weeks of that, can I give the next dose?

Dora14 9 years ago
Yes,you need to give SULPHUR again.

rishimba 9 years ago
Hello, we finished the three doses of sulphur, it has been about 4 days plus a week since the last dose. The sleeping overal has improved slightly. She wakes between 2 and 4 am most nights and wants to sleep with us, before it was multiple times. Confidence is better overall, but is starting to reverse. Better as compared to when we started, more compliance, fewer tantrums, better able to participate in a new activity. Not great, but definitely better. The rash is much better on her arms ans shoulders, almost gone, but the thighs and legs overall are still itchy, she says the skin "tickles". The rash on her knees is worse but different. It is on the knee caps, and not on the sides,as before. She still picks her lips, but maybe 50% less often. The time questions, like "when is it going to be winter again" are much less frequent. Please let me know how to proceed. Thank you very much.
