Keep getting ill

i have just recovered from a bug that was going round in my local area. it was a cold/minor flu. i was in bed exhausted and had a runny nose all the time.

Now i have recovered from that just over a week ago, i yet again am ill with a throat infection. i woke up yesterday with swollen glands in my throat and they have been producing flem and my throat is saw.
i have also lost my apetite for food over the last few days.

Can anyone help me in preventing these illnesses from coming over me?

You can fight an oncoming cold by using Nat Mur 30c taken every 2 hours. This remedy must be taken as early as possible when you first get the signs of a cold coming on.

You can fight the throat bug with Belladonna 30c taken every 3 hours.

Both remedies must be taken 3 times on the day after relief is felt as otherwise the same bug will invade again with greater strength.

The Bacillinum suggested by deoshlok is useful to build up the resistance but it must not be taken daily. I advise patients to use 2 doses taken 2 weeks apart.

Repetition of Nat Mur every two hours is too much. Please read clark Dictionary Of Materia Medica, his experience is different.I think one dose daily is sufficient.Bell 30c every 3 hours is perfect.sorry for that discussion must be appreciated.

I used this remedy a few times in preference to my default remedy Ferr Phos 30x which I took every 3 hours to stop an oncoming cold.

I must admit that I used the water dose which I made by using 1 drop of the Nat Mur 30c in 450ml water and sipped a tsp every 2 hours which aborted the cold with the 3rd dose.

You may be correct with the dry dose in globules but I used the water dose after succussion with successful results but did not wish to complicate matters for deoshlok with making the water dose for the next cold.

I felt that it was the regular sipping of the remedy every 2 hours that aborted the cold very quickly for me a few weeks ago.
