know about plussing potency- Dr Deoshlok Sharma

plussing potency -

glass method -

This method extends the use of a pills/powder.

It is useful if patient is running out of stock of medicine, and also ensures a gentler and more even response to the remedy.

Stirring raises the potency, hence ‘plussing’.
Dissolve one tablet in a half glass of water. It does not matter if some of it does not dissolve.
Give one teaspoonful per dose. Cover the glass, and keep cool.
Stir vigorously 10 times or as advised before each dose. Repeat as directed.
Renew glass every 1-2-5 days as advised, or add a little alcohol (spirits) to preserve it.

bottle method -

1. you drop 1-one dose pills/powder of chosen remedy, in water (10ml dropper bottles-or 500ml bottle which should be 1/4th empty)

2.tap the bottle firmly 10 times on a yielding surface, such as your palm, a book , or a folded cloth(1-12 times usually or as advised 10 times )

3.after that put 1 cap or 1 tsb in 1 bowl of water (10-15 mL)

4.stir it 10 times and take 2 tsb from it as advised (once or twice or 2 hourly, etc )throw the rest of water in bowl.

5.repeat the preparation from step two onwards everyday.

dose is adjusted according to sensitivity also -

and if you are not very sensitive you take 1-3 tsp from bowl.

if you are mildly sensitive you mix these 1-3 tsp with half glass of water in the first dilution glass

and if you are very sensitive you take 1-3 sp from the 1st glass to 2nd (and so on).
