Help with the case of a brain damged 20 year old.

I am a homeopath who is struggling with a case and would appreciate some help with the hardest case that I've treated this year.

This patient is a 20 year old male. He nearly drown at age 1, had brain damage, and has been immobile ever since. He has a feeding tube and cannot tell us how he is feeling.

He's been to many homeopaths over many years and none have been able to do much good for him. He's been treated with many remedies, and I've tried a variety of different remedies as well in a wide range of potencies and strengths. The mother has also tried many remedies for him without success.

He has emaciated legs and arms. His arms are cramped at the elbows. His fingers are closed and cramped in. His knees are bent, and his feet are cramped up, as are his toes.

His mother drives him around frequently in the back of her van. He lies on his right side. His skin is somewhat greasy and he has some large splotchy birthmarks. I tried Thuj. first, which may be his correct constitutional remedy, but his response to it was mixed.

This year the torqued neck/spine/body problem has gotten worse. His spine is greatly twisted.

He is unresponsive most of the time but frequently cries out when he wakes up.

His mother says that he is far worse at night, and that she has trouble sleeping because it is difficult to get him to sleep.

MAJOR SYMPTOMS

He likes cold, but gets chilled easily.
He likes hot baths and humidity.
Hands sweat.
Neck is worse when he has a seizure. He turns his head right and pushes back.
Buries head in pillow when lying on right side.
Smelly, cadaverous stool.
Constrictions of the mouth and anus.
Doesn't digest milk well.
Lips tighten when you put things in mouth.
Better in car. (LYC.)
Better from attention.
Vertical ridges on nails.

I've got a years worth of case notes and am happy to tell all of the remedies that I've tried with varying degrees of success.

Professional opinions and advice would be welcome.

Hi-

It would speed things up, if you listed the remedies
and responses.

And also The details about the incident at age 1, how
it happened, what went on then, what was tried at
that time.

It might be a case also where stem cell therapy could
help and I don't know if the Mother has thought about
this, But two places are well regarded, Germany and
Panama.

Rishimba,

I am a homeopath, so I would appreciate as much info as possible on your reasoning.

He has been given Nat-M at times for a sore throat.

His mother is using Nat-M at the moment with good effect, though she primarily uses Sepia.

Thanks.

This is not a prescription at this stage but a probable remedy on the basis of limited information available..

-psychic cause of disease (fright while getting drowned)

-Neck seems to be the most affected part.

-Oily/greasy skin ( assume face if also greasy)

-Constriction or constrictive sensation felt in body, anus

-perspiring palms

- weakness in arms and legs

-sleepy in forenoon but sleepless at night, nervous jerking during sleep

-He lies on his right side.

- Better in open air ( in a car )
