PCOS and fibroids, need help

Dr NAwaz,

I need your help. I have Polycystic overies for last couple of years, recently diagnosed with 1 cm big fibroids in the outer wall.

I am taking homeo medicines for fibroids for last 3 months, but missing periods every month. Then take mensolin to regulate my cycle. this time was advised to take Pulsatilla 200 and then mensolin after 2 days.

Could you please help me .. Been trying to get pregnant for 6 mths now.

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis
and recollection of previous experiences and happenings to select proper medicine.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which
ameliorate the same?
8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of
place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable
Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your
husband / wife?
11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or
Limbs? At night more..?
17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?
21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you
have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
22. Nature of work, what do you do for living?
23. What major diseases are running in your family?
24. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance

- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last?

1. Describe your main suffering? (Describe symptoms)
I don’t get my periods regularly, last 3 months were induced periods, have pain in left abdomen sometimes,
Diagnosed with fibroids recently, they are 1.1 cm big on the outer wall.
Depressed all the time, cry very easily
2. What other physical/mental sufferings in past, you had ?
I recently braved a death in the family ( Father), I get nerve pulls in my leg in winter.
3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical
sufferings?
Because of this condition I gt angry very easily, cry a lot and don’t feel this life is worth living sometimes. I try to fight my
negative thoughts most of the time but they come back. I am unable to focus and concentrate on work. Get irritated also with
small things all the time.
4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
I don’t feel like living, feel that fighting this condition wont help,
depressed and cry most of the time.
5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
It started 2 years ago, had problems with my husband, since then my periods have not been regular.
6. Which time of the day you are worst?
Mornings mostly, I feel lazy no energy at all. I find it difficult to eat , only drink tea. Evenings and nights I have a lot of energy
Sometimes I don’t feel sleepy and finish most of my work at night.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which
ameliorate the same?
I don’t this,

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of
place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
I think due to weight gain, this has affected my menses a lot.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
cold weather
10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable
Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
very moody, mostly irritated, angry but try to suppress it sometimes it comes out full blown .I am also very lazy
don’t feel like getting out of bed on some days. Easy offended

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
scared, both times.
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
yes,
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
yes, some smells make me happy, some make me sad. Noise not much, I don’t mind listening to loud music sometimes and listen to slow ones as well.
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
I talk to myself a lot, all the time.
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your
husband / wife?
family support is less, wish they would listen to me more, I feel guilty that I am not able to trust them much, Husband is loving, we had differences but trying to work things out
I don’t like his habits sometimes, but I still love him and he supports me a lot.
11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
I fear everything, before doing anything I am scared of the consequences. No bad dreams
12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
I crave sweets a lot, sometimes chicken as well. Averse to sour and fish
13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive? normal
14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive? Excessive, I eat when i am stressed.
15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand? Too spicy, I cant eat. Get bad stomach easily
16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or
Limbs? At night more..? I sweat a lot, from my fac mostly, forehead area and temples.
17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? Some days its constipated, somedays loose.
18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? I sleep on my right side, with hand under my head, fetus position.
19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general? Yes, I am ok with my desires.
20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all? I don’t feel that I am different.
21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you
have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
I took allopathic medicines for a while, metformin and birth control pills, as soon as I left metformin, I gained weight back and the condition got worse,
I started taking home medicines , I don’t know the composition – my condition was better, from January onwards I am taking mensolin to induce my periods.
This month as well I am a week late, I took pulsatilla 200 4 times in a day. Still no periods,
22. Nature of work, what do you do for living? - desk job, little stressful.
23. What major diseases are running in your family? Blood pressure,
24. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance – I have a petite figure but more weight around my neck and stomach, look mostly roundish,

- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last? Usually late, heavy flow, last 4 days,
- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after
the periods? I don’t get any pain during periods, I feel happy that I got it finally,
- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive? excessivr
- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery? Dark red and thick
- Do you notice any clots in the flow? Very few clots
- Any problem in pregnancy – unable to get pregnany, trying for 3 months.
27. Any special points you feel necessary to mention

1. Calc Carb-200 6 pills twice a day upto your next period scheduled and then give feedback

thanks Doctor, but i still didnt get my periods for this month, Shall i stop taking mensolin? And start on Calc Carn 200?

YEs, medicine is prescribed taking into consideration all complaints
