Chronic conditions - doses

Hello everyone, how are doses/ potencies and the frequency of taking the medication determined for chronic conditions? I can't seem to find any specific advice on this.

Do you know if Hanhemann or Dr Luc Schepper have said anything about this?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
dose / potencies can not be decided without knowing the diseases u are having and it effects on ur mind and body.

about which medicine u are asking ?

Dr. Luc has info on potencies
and dosing on his education pages. It is more of a general
overview of the basics.

Posology is an entire subject that is studied by homeopaths. First one has to get the right remedy,
the right potency, and the right dosing to start off
and then one has to know how to maintain that, when
to stop, when to change remedies, when to adjust
the dose if the patient is very sensitive, if the
reactions are following Herings Law of Cure or if
the remedy is palliating and so on.

Many factors go into this, and each person is different
and reacts differently, that is why you cannot find
specific advice- because that would be an allopathic
way of doing things- "take this for that".

I realize it is very individual and complicated. But what should I do if there is no qualified homeopath in my area at all who I could ask for advice? :(

Hi Fiona,

Many homeopaths now take cases on skype, or phone
and some do email.

If you want to work with a homeopath who practices
like Dr. Luc/hahnemann let me know your country,
as there are a lot of options and I can give you
some names.

Regards,

Simone

Yes, please I would appreciate the names of such homeopaths! Thanks! I am in the US. I am interested in consulting with a classical homeopath who practices like Dr Luc/Hanhemann.

Hi Fiona,

Here are two homeopaths, who have over 20 and over 25 years experience and are well regarded homeopathy
teachers too.

If you are not in their area they will take your case
by phone. Lia Bello is a nurse homeopath and her site
has been under construction but you can google about her. I have sent people to her who have emailed me
in emergency situation and they were well taken care of.

Mary Aspinwall is in Santa Barbara, you can look at
her site and read testimonials.

They practice similar to Dr. Luc and are passionate
about teaching like Dr. Luc.

If you want someone in person I need to know your city-
to see if there is someone with the right qualifications
in or near your area.

simone717, do you know whether it is OK to store homeopathic remedies in the refrigerator? Some people say yes, and some say no. Dr. Luc de Schepper says it's OK. But there is an electromagnetic field around the refrigerator, correct? Everywhere I read it says that it's not good to store homeopathic remedies near an electromagnetic field.

Hi Fiona,

I have stored remedies in the
refrigerator quite often.

The water is not going to last that long, so I switch between
having the remedy mixed with water in a bottle, room temp,
or putting it in the fridge for
a couple days.

Either way, I make up the remedy again, if not using
alcohol- I would not worry about it.

Thanks! Do you notice that the remedies are still effective after being stored in the fridge?

Yes, I have done that for 20 years, BUT I only keep them in
there for 3 days, and then I make new ones-

I think they would also be fine
if I had them in a bottle in
a cabinet for 3 days, I have done that too.
