Can Ayurvedic medicines be taken during homeopathy treatment?

Can anybody clarify whether taking ayurvedic medicines like Triphala interfere with homeopathy treatment? I'm currently on Suplhur.

I feel if you give a gap of 1 hr before and after the intake of ayurvedic medicines, it will not disturb the homeopathic action. In fact both are complimentary (but allopathy may not be) but why doctors adivise otherwise is because they can get confused or misled by the progress of the cure/action of the homeo medicine which they have prescribed.
