2 and a half year old with enlarged tonsils

my son is 2 and a half years old. he has frequent cold which develops into persistent cough.. it ends up in tonsilitis with fever. it started 20 months back(when he was about 9 months old). he feels better in open air. does not feel thirst when he is sick. does not drink water at all. (he developed stomach inflammation after 2 antibiotic doses whenhe was 2 years old which is cured now. )

this time fever was down afterfter giving aconitum . But the tonsils remained enlarged and had white spots.(only right tonsil was enlarged but both sides had white patches). he was prescribed antibiotics after 4 days. the white spots on tonsils on both sides disappered after that. the right tonsil still remains swollen. now he has got a cold on 7th day of antibiotic and has cough now.

i am his mother and have had recurrent tonsilitis infections in childhood. and severe bacterial tonsilitis when i was 25 years old which was treated by antibiotics
