The ABC Homeopathy Forum

pcos and sepia 30c

Hi all,

I am new to the forum, but not new to homeopathic remedies. I've used homeopathy before, sometimes successfully, sometimes unsuccessfully. I was diagnosed with PCOS 4,5 years ago (I was 15 yrs) and since then I am trying desperately to find a cure. My periods have always been pretty irregular and I also have excess hair growth, hair loss (which is out of control at the moment) and very mild acne, which used to be much worse. My mood is horrible, with a lot of mood swings and my biggest problem at the moment is the lack of periods. I am going into the 5th month in a row without a period, and I've been spotting continuously for 2 weeks, sth which to me looks like very old blood. I've been to my GP yesterday, and I received no meaningful help whatsoever, as always.
In the past year, I have used staphysagria, natrum muriaticum (and sth else I don't remember), recommended by a homeopathist. However, those did not help at all. On the other hand, I remember 2 years ago, I've been advised to take Sepia. After Sepia, the 4 most symptom free, mood swings and hairloss free months followed, with regular periods as well. When some of my symptoms came back, due to different reasons I didn't go back to homeopathy, then a year later I consulted a different homeopathist, he gave me the capsules I mentioned above, they did not work and since then I haven't done anything really to help my condition and everything has taken its toll.
So, I purchased some Sepia 30c capsules yesterday and my question is, what dosage do you recommend for the regulation of my symptoms?
Thanks in advance,
Chari

Only thing that helped was sepia, 2 years ago, I don't remember the potency, but I think it was nine capsules overall, every three days, or every other day, I can't remember to be honest. 18. Nature of work, what do you do for living?

19. Important Question.
Mind-behavior, anger, irritability, hurry,
impatient…and so on.. How are you different from other persons, public speaking or not, you can describe all of the details about your behavior, love and affections.

I always overthink and my head never stops giving me millions of thoughts of what might go wrong, I am a worrier in general, anxious, highly irritable, and impatient BUT the last two traits change completely to the opposite when I have to deal with two specific loved ones. It's usually really easy for me to go on a defensive mode, and I can be quite aggressive, although I am always aware of it, and try to control it. I want to control everything, and sometimes I can forget how other people feel if I want to achieve progress on something. My mood improves (and my symptoms as well) when I travel, mostly on the seaside or countryside/mountains. I always like to move around in different countries and I don't like to settle down in one place, however in my everyday I can be so occupied by my thoughts and fears that I end up sitting in the house for ages, being lazy. I feel exhausted all the time and stressed about the future, and sometimes I feel quite guilty that I can't control everything. Thinking about interactions with people and speaking in public makes me anxious, but when I start doing it, I don't feel bad anymore. I don't like late nights out anymore, I prefer a concert or a dinner somewhere nice. On the bright side, I can smile quite a lot, and I have a good sense of humour. I am also very generous.

20. Color of the secretions/discharges e.g
Pus, urine, stool, sputum, Saliva etc.

Stool looks like normal medium brown, urine can be a little dark yellow sometimes, but usually is very light yellow, saliva a normal transparent/whitish color and the vaginal discharge I am currently having is brown with some occasional very dark clots.

For Females Only
21. When is the period during the month approx. date?
Any monthly cycle issues? Regular, early, late, before problems, after problems,
pain, any other discharges?

When it comes, it comes usually towards the end of the month, cycles are irregular and don't follow a specific pattern, the first two days the pain is unbearable, after I usually have no problems, I described the current discharges above.

22. Are you pregnant? If yes, please give pregnancy start date? Any current issues?

Not pregnant, not planning to.

Thank you for reading, as I said in my initial post, I really think that Sepia will be good for me ( I purchased the 30c), but I will firstly take your advise into consideration.

There is not a particular smell, sometimes it can be slightly acidic.
What is the method/dosage of taking Pulsatilla Q. ? What potency as well?

Thank you

Hi Chari,

Since you are located in the UK, you can order
Pulsatilla Q from Helios Homeopathic Pharm.
When you click on Remedies, you will see "Mother
Tincture" below- Q means Mother Tincture Which is
the substance other potencies are made from.

Order the one that says, Pulsatilla (Wind Flower)
and get the smallest size- mother tinctures are always
liquid.

Nawaz will give you dosing instructions when you
receive it- and when you get it let him know and
and also let him know what your symptoms are at that
time ( so he has the most current info to decide on
the dosing)
