sciatica
Age 28,female, for the last one week right side backpain down up to left leg ,not able to site in the chair or car more time plz suggest remedy.peevenkat on 2015-06-16

1. Collocynth-30 6 pills twice a day
2. Rhus Tox-200 6 pills at bed time
Pl take above treatment for one week and then give feedback

Dear peevenkat,
Proper homeopathic prescribing is one remedy
at a time in the minimum dose- one must see
your reactions to a remedy after a few doses.
Otherwise you will overdose and bring symptoms
back if you take too much. No one can predict
in advance how you will react.
And one has to ask more questions to find
the right remedy for you. Such as, is this
better from movement or worse and what was
going on when this began/cause etc.
Anyone can offer prescriptions on this forum,
I advise you to post again, you can click on
responders names and put someone in your
headline if you wish to take your case.

Issue #1-
You seem to not believe in homeopathic aggravation
and stopping medicine if and when there is aggravation.
No instructions are given for medicine reactions- to let aggravation pass and see if there
is curing effects from the medicine. And obviously
everyone has different sensitivities and some people
need less medicine to produce an aggravation or
healing effect.
If the person takes Colocynthis and Rhus tox -
how would you know which one is working and which
one is doing proving effects or which one you need
more of?
General remedies for sciatica in Materia Medica are:
About 140 different medicines. You chose 2 of the
main ones without asking anything of the patient
to see which ONE of these medicines would be best-
for her.
You also don't ask what is going on that she has
sciatica- an accident, some other medical condition,
which could then be included in what medicine you
choose or might change how you look at the case
entirely.
