Truncal Lymphedema

Is there a homeopathic treatment for truncal lymphadema?

I had a breast lump removed from my right breast in 2002. It was benign. Don't know when exactly we noticed it but my upper body size had increased. I had a few other surgeries after that so till now I did not think that the breast surgery could be causing any problem. I had pain all over my body. One of my alternative doctors suggested that I do lymphatic drainage. Her theory was food allergies. I was under strict diet. I went for 10-15 lymphatic drainage sessions with her. My whole upper body shrunk to normal size and I lost the extra 10 pounds I suddenly gained. My general health also improved a lot.

Then I moved from that area and had to stop the lymphatic drainage therapy sessions. As time passed I gained the weight back. Meanwhile many other problems were happening so I did not think too much about possible lymphatic problem. Of course even the person who suggested lymphatic drainage was connecting it to food allergies, so I was strictly following the food regimen she suggested. My gut feeling was that food was not making any difference to me when it comes to the swelling in my trunk. No amount of diet reduced my weight or puffiness. That made me suspicious, but did not know what to do.

Few days ago I was thinking about this and did some research about the lymphatic drainage. This took me to this article on “truncal lymphedema”. http://www.lymphnotes.com/article.php/id/149/
I have many or all of the symptoms listed here – puffiness of my whole chest, shoulders, sides of my body, abdomen, tummy etc. I also have a lot of pain in the chest and rib area, which get worse while sleeping. I don’t have much swelling in my legs. My upper arms also have some swelling. My upper arms get tight and painful all the time.

Can homeopathy help me? Please advice.
Regards
Smitha

Hi Smitha, the homeopathic remedies will help some, you also need to drink alot of water, water flushes out toxins. You should go back to therapy as well, were you fitted last time with any compression garments? There is a compression bra by Bellise and truncal wraps now available. Lymphland is my site and you can find a therapist near your new location there, look in the directory under find a therapist.
