depression

Hi, a close member of my family was fired early this year, he has spent the last months at home searching for jobs online. He does not have referees and no passion for anything.
He is lazy and untidy. Likes videogames.
He is a typical lycopodium.
Shall I recommend lycopodium for his mild depression or ignatia?
thank you for your suggestions.

Well I discussed it with my homeopath (my husband has never had treatment) about his mental and personality and she determined he is lycopodium.

Some features: left a beard to look masculine, master in several martial arts, plays chess constantly online, 'He might fall into disease, lacking the strength and ailing, losing, quitting, behaving as a coward; this is also the condition described in the Materia Medicas', not good at intimacy, socially easy going but does not connect, introvert, no friends, but happy to have acquaintances, feel threatened by women in power, but he likes to be mothered, not good at intimacy, low self esteem, etc

I think he needs sulphur not lycopodium. both the medicines are very similar in their mental and physical symptoms so that differentiating becomes very difficult. I have selected sulphur because he is lazy and untidy. this kind of people generally require high potency for cure.
