I dropped remedy in drinking water container. Please help! !

Will be a great help if somebody reply me on this. Last week while taking the remedy staphysagria 200c, I opened the vessel in which we keep our drinking water. Perhaps I opened it to fetch some water for taking the remedy. I usually take a glass of water from it using the regular glass we always use in our home to drink water. Then pour the water in a use and throw paper cup(in which I will drop 4 or 5 pellets of the remedy, and take it.) Last week while doing this I accidentally dropped 1 pellet into the vessel( which we always use to store drinking water). It did bothered me, but I didn't know what to do. The staphysagria aggravated me severely. Its been 10 days and I am still going through aggravation. Hopefully staphysagria is my constitutional remedy, the aggravation is a similar aggravation and not dissimilar. Although I am happy that I might have found out my constitutional remedy, I am so worried that our drinking water is now potent. The aggravation is quite severe. May be the drinking water got potencised? And I am taking repeated dosing of staph for the past 10 days while drinking water. Isnt is possible???? I research ed the whole internet abt this. I couldn't find any post anywhere regarding the danger of potencising drinking water or vessels in home. Is it not possible, according to homeopathic principles? If possible what should I do? Please help someone!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What is the size of tank & is it possible for you to put few drops of camphor in the tank & then drain all the water, then refill it & drain the whole tank again?

First of all thanks for the reply. Yea its possible. Its not a tank its just a steal container. It might hold abt 10 litre of water I guess. I have never bought camphor in my life. It is the same thing used in 'vicks vaporub'. Can I use vicks instead then? U said few drops, does that mean I have to buy camphor oil or something?

Btw I am wondering abt the other vessels in my home as well. We use the same water for cooking, water from the same container had been transferred to other cooking vessels and glasses. Is it possible that all got the essence of the remedy? There had been pretty bad anger outbursts in my home for few days. Everyone got some mild dossage of staphysagria???? Which is prone to cause angry outbursts? If so god! this is so scary. I would here after take dry doses itself.

I don't know y there is no warning abt this anywhere in the Internet or anywhere else. There is no warning anywhere against using the same cup for taking remedies or using regular cups or spoons which we use for daily purposes. I have read in many articles telling bottles should be thrown away. Contaminated remedies should be thrown away. But never once have I read any post telling, use only paper cups, use only useandthrow spoons etc. Does that mean this is not an issue to be worried about. Please confirm someone.

I'm just an observer here, but personally I would throw it out to be on the safe side. I use plastic cups and spoons to mix remedies just so I don't contaminate anything else. I even throw out tincture bottles if I have to toss a whole remedy rather than trying to sterilize the bottle in any way. I don't think anyone can be sure what deactivates a remedy.

I use to use glasses and regular spoons to mix remedies, and after putting in dishwasher, never noticed any reaction to them - and I'm sensitive to remedies, so I would know if there was residual remedy left. So if you have a dishwasher, I'd put the glasses and pots in there before using again.

If you put camphor in the container, then you could basically expose yourself to a camphor potency every time you use water, which wouldn't be good either.

Thanks for your reply. I don't have a dish washer. Me too sensitive to remedies. And yes I could feel the reaction most of the times. I don't know how it is for others but to me the reactions feel like an absorbing mild chill electric signal flowing through my head kind of feel. I might also get nerve twiches and fall asleep if the reaction is too strong. Do tell me how the reaction feels for you joyner :). And I am perhaps feeling the reaction then and then past 10days, first I thought its coz the aggravation is lasting. i cant say for sure whether I get the reaction after drinking water, its random. Mostly I can feel the reactions within few minutes, when I take LM potency. Not so with CM potency. Anyway I sure have to do something about this. Will heating the vessel in stove, or washing with dish wash powder do any benefit?

For me reactions are usually pain in legs and buzzing in back. A layer that I haven't hit that is probably trying to break through. Doesn't happen much these days, but I will also get old symptoms related to the particular remedy.

I would think if you could heat the container in the oven, that would be great. I think the deactivation in the dishwasher probably has to do with the heat, and not so much the soap. But I have no way of knowing either...just a hunch, since remedies can be sensitive to high heat, so they say.

Yea gotta try. Perhaps i do experience old symptoms related to the remedies etc after a day or so after taking remedies. Thanks for ur suggestions Joyner. I get reactions to Lm 1 itself. So 200c is ofcourse too much for me. But a month back I took Carcinosin 200c without any prob. I have even taken 10M long back and aggravated for 2 to 3 weeks. So I guess 200c should stop aggravation atleast in two weeks even if its the simillimum. Only if my drinking water is fine awwwwwe. Help help help!!! Anyone well knowledged in this is welcome.

I have been way too carefull while handling the remedies, ever since I saw with my own eyes how just a single smaller than poppy seed sized Lm granules changes a whole rms bottle potent. I started imagining how much of solution can that lm granule absorb. It cant even absord 1/100 or 1/200 of a small drop of solution yet it can change a whole bottle potent. Ever since that I am scared while mixing remedies. Just think, sometimes a drop of solution easily sticks to my finger while mixing. What will I do then? If I leave it like that it might get in touch with the glass when I touch it. So I wash my hand immediately. But who knows what happens then when all the water from pipe flows through my hand. Then I use to wipe my hand on a cloth. Guess this is quite a safe option, although a bit of remedy sticks to the cloth, mostly its not gonna do any damage. When I throw the remaining water from my dosage cup to the wash basin, I start thinking the basin got some essence of the remedy now. I also start thinking abt the cockroaches that might absorb the remedy inside the basin. Gosh!!! is my concerns valid, or I am just worrying unnecessarily. Looking at the way these potencised solutions work my concerns are valid isnt it? Yet I don't know y some people, even homeopaths handle remedies casually. I saw a homeopath here in Chennai who used the same dossage cup for all remedies!!!!! Isnt it wrong? I saw a nother homeopath, she told me " just put 3 pellets in a cup of water and drink it." She didnt even said I should use paper cups. This really is something to be bothered about isn't it?

If the tank is of 10Kg only, then no need to put camphor in it. Simply through away all the water, wash it with detergent & put the tank in direct sunlight for a day or two, until it is completely dry. Once it is completely dried out, you can use it again. There won't be any effects of medicines left in the tank for sure. Sun light & open air effectively kill homeopathic medicines. I even reuse empty bottles of homeopathic remedies mostly for different remedies & never ever faced any issue with them.

AsadGhumman thats bit relieving to hear. I am gonna wash it with hot water and then sun dry it. Meantime I am temporarily using another small container to store drinking water. My family is still drinking from that old container. Its just gonna be pretty teribily hard to make then understand whats going on. Thats the risky part now :p

What else is bothering me is the number of vessels that would have got in touch with the potencised water is more. (If it is potencised) but I guess I need not bother abt them. Luckily most of them are cooking vessels and they might get ok when they are heated up. Wish there is more awareness in homeopathic community abt the importance of handling remedies with care. Some local pharmacies here sell remedies in plastic bottles with no proper caps. They pour liquid in empty pellets and sell them. Half of the liquid stick outside the bottle. Too bad :(
