Seeking Homeopathic help - hypoglycemic conditions

Hello,
Thank you for considering my case.
I am 28yrs old, 175lbs.
I am hypoglycemic. Lately I have been overworking my body to an extreme, while not eating enough. I think I may have damaged my system. I am eating regularly now and getting good rest. I am an herbalist and have tried many remedies with no lasting success.

Here are the symptoms Ive been experiencing:
-Extreme exhaustion/fatigue
-Desire to lay down
-Heat sensations all over body
-Intense muscle burning upon slightest activity(walking up stairs, by the 10th step there is burning all over the body)
-Increased thirst
-Sensitivity to light
-Worse at 3pm
-Better with cold shower or drink
-Fearful, pessimism
-Expectation of failure
-Desire for human touch

If I skip a meal, and there is a hypoglycemic episode I experience irritability/anger, shakiness, thirst, and a need to lay down.

1. Age,sex,weight,country,occupation.
ANS. 28, Male, USA, Herbalist. I should also note that I worked as a construction worker for five years, which was very physically demanding.

2. Main complaints and other associated troubles.
a)Where is the trouble; The exact locality of the complaint like hands, legs etc; duration of trouble.
ANS. I feel the discomfort from the kidney level up to the ears. The sensation often travels up my torso affecting my back and neck. The onset and duration is inconsistent, however it seems to arise in the morning or if I haven't eaten enough. There is tiredness all over my body.
b)What exactly do you feel, Sensation as pain, how pain feels or burn etc.
ANS. In general, I feel exhausted and fatigued. A feeling that my body cannot physically handle what is necessary for life. Sometimes I feel a sensation of hot fiery internal air rushing from my kidney area up to my ears. There is also a constant feeling that is really hard to describe. It feels like a certain kind of stress, a dull tingle under and on my skin from my kidneys upward to my ears. Some kind of nerve sensation like a achy, dull tingle that is physically stressful.
c)What are the factors that causes this trouble according to you.
ANS. According to me, the trouble happened because I am a hypoglycemic who overworked himself and didn't eat enough to compensate. It was a period of about four months where I neglected my body in this way. Also, stress about life has played a factor. All my life I have carried a belief that I need to be doing better and that I am not satisfied with myself. This restlessness runs deep and has added to my overall stress, and has made things worse through that time.
I can also add that throughout my life, even as young as 5 or 6, I have perceived a sensation that I am not as energetically strong as I could be. There seems to be either a lack of something or a certain something that subdues my vibrancy. Although my body looks healthy and strong, having good musculature, I don't feel as vibrant as I look. This has always perplexed me, and seems like a constitutional factor.
d)Condition under which the complaint is reduced or you feel better like, cold or hot application, cold or hot weather, position as standing, walking, rest etc.
ANS. I feel much better when I lay down. Everything is better when I get to lay down. Standing is laborious, and I find myself leaning against nearby solid objects for support. Walking is comfortable for short and even long distances. Generally, cold drinks, a cool breeze, and cold showers bring relief. Although a warm shower or hot tub or sauna feels nice, but not for too long. Hot weather doesn't seem to bother me. During this past winter only, I had an intense aversion to cold, even the slightest breeze under my shirt would be very uncomfortable. I haven't applied anything cold or hot to any direct area for this complaint, however I can sense a craving to apply cold to my throat and lungs.
e)Condition under which the complaint is increased like, cold or hot application, cold or hot weather, position as standing, walking, rest etc.
ANS. Heat for too long of duration in shower/hot tub/sauna would aggravate. Standing makes things worse, as does walking up stairs. The thought of too many tasks to complete in my day drains my energy without even beginning. My body feels unequal to even simple tasks of daily life. At its worse, I have to muster up all my energy to force myself to eat just so I can lay back down.
f)Any other complaint any where in the body.
ANS. I feel a lot of energetic tension at the Temporomandibular joint and at the diaphragm. The energetic tension feels like the strange pressure you feel when trying to force two opposing magnets together, added with an uncomfortable stressful feeling like they have been exerting force too much for too long. Also, my low back and thorax seem unfit to erect my upper body. A symbolic gesture for my overall feeling is when someone feels grief and they take a big sigh and exhale fully while their upper body slumps forward. This is also accompanied by a sensation of anxiety in the chest, which I believe comes from a feeling that I cannot accomplish what I need or want to.
Walking on flat ground doesn't bother me, but walking up stairs is really bothersome. I'll get to about the tenth step and all of my muscles start to burn, like the typical muscle burn experienced during exercise.
I also have experienced sebhorreic dermatitis since around the age of 12. It affects my scalp, and beard area, and sometimes the middle of my chest. Mostly oily areas. It creates an excess of skin production which flakes off over red and inflamed skin.
g)Onset time of troubles in detail, i.e which came first, after that what problem and so on.
ANS. Aside from long term constitutional complaints, my most immediate symptoms started six months ago. Six months ago I started feeling the heat waves from my kidney area up to my ears. After about two months of that uncomfortability, I started to feel a more systemic overload of my nervous system. My upper body started to feel heavier and I had to stop most exercise. About a month ago, the heat waves became less intense and less frequent. I have started to eat more frequently. My appetite has been very low the whole six months, and that's why it has been a struggle to eat as much as I need. I end up forgetting to eat because I do not feel like it. That was happening everyday and by the time I remembered to eat, it was already too late and I started to feel symptoms. During this time I was riding my bike 15 miles a day for work/school and also stopping at the gym to lift weights before I got home (about 3x/week). This ended up being way too much for my body and (from what I believe) too much for my sympathetic nervous system. Currently, I feel very fatigued and exhausted even before I do anything. Sometimes I will wake up from a full nine or ten hours of sleep with a body feeling like I hadn't slept at all.
h)Treatment method adopted and its result.
ANS. I have tried nettle seed tincture that I prepared as an adrenal trophorestorative. I also prepared a classical Chinese formula "Rehmannia six" (Liuwei Dihuang) as a yin tonic in tincture form. Of course, introducing alcohol is making the situation worse(lowers blood sugar), so I've stopped that treatment. I've been taking vitamin c, magnesium, and some essential oils topically (spruce, lavender, and cedar).

3. History of diseases in family.
ANS. On my mother's side there is history of schizophrenia, mania, bipolar disorder, depression, diabetes, and psoriasis. They tend toward anxiety and depression.
On my father's side there is alcoholism (including an alcohol related death), hypoglycemia, stroke (some before age 60), and skin c ancer. They tend toward anger and rage.

4. Personal History.
a)About childhood.
ANS. My childhood was never really stable. I had a sense of perfectionism at a very young age. I can imagine my parents weren't very prepared to have me. My parents divorced young and I mostly lived with my mother. For no single reason, I've lived in 8 different states and attended 15 different schools from 1-12th grade. My parents were never really okay with their lives, and subsequently mine too. There was always a sense of discontent, like something had to change. There were many stepfathers that came into my life as well. None of them were very trustworthy. Many times I wanted to stand up for myself or my family members but felt unable because I was too young or too small. And a few times I have been held down and choked by older men. I mention this because I feel like it has inhibited the energy center there.
As soon as I grew a full set of teeth, I was grinding them at night. Apparently it was very loud, I was given a retainer and it stopped. I also used to have a lot of throat issues growing up. Sickness of any kind would always start in my throat. Strep throat many times, and many sore throats. This was before being choked.
I grew up with four younger siblings who had different fathers. The family dynamic was very chaotic. It seemed my responsibility to act as a steady force for our family because my mother has very poor coping skills, and my father is emotionally unintelligent. In many ways, I have felt the pressure of acting as the adult during my childhood. I would say that I grew up too fast. There were too many responsibilities and mature decisions I had to make at a young age.

b)Academic performance.
ANS. I've always made good grades. My mind feels sharp and I feel I can assimilate new concepts quickly. The only times I doubt my academic performance is with my organizational skills and laziness to study. I tend to wait until the last minute to do assignments. Emotionally I sometimes doubt my potential for success, like I don't deserve it.
c)Any major incidents in life and the effect of it on life.
ANS. I have had a neck trauma in high school wrestling. The allopath said I bruised my spinal cord. Ever since that incident I have had trouble with the musculature and connective tissues of my neck and shoulders, particularly the left side of neck/shoulder/arm. Chinese medicine practitioners are always surprised when they notice the pulse on the left side is very faint, although there is plenty of blood and energy getting to that arm.

d)How you are satisfied with your sex life, friends, family members, company etc.
ANS. My sex life is very satisfying, nothing to complain about there. I am in a good intimate relationship. I maintain great relationships with my family and friends. I have worked hard to maintain these relationships because I feel they are the most important thing in my life. It has taken a lot of work with my parents in particular, but now we are in great standings with each other and I don't foresee that changing.

5. Habits/Addiction.
a)Smoking, Alcohol,Sleeping pills, Laxative etc.
ANS. I smoke marijuana about four times per week. Over the past six months I have consumed alcohol about three times per week, but I have recently(two weeks) stopped because I started school again. I do drink one cup of coffee per day.
b)Masturbation and frequency.
ANS. I masturbate about two times per week.

6. How is your Appetite and Thirst.
ANS. My appetite is usually pretty low. Sometimes my appetite is high for a week or so, which seems to be related to the type of exercise I do or hormonal cycles, but mostly it is low. My thirst is always high. I am thirsty most of the time, and would be happy to take liquids if my stomach is not too full.

7. Likes and Dislikes.
a)Alcohol Bread Butter Bitter Salt Sweet Sour Fats Milk Mud Chalk Egg Spicy food Meat Fish Fruits Fried Food Warm food-drink Cold food-drink Ice Ice cream Chocolates Tea Coffee.
ANS. I really enjoy the feeling of alcohol at the beginning, I am pain free and happy. But when it wears off, my body really doesn't like it. It also drops my blood sugar quite rapidly, so I know I have to eat soon after.
I love bread, I could eat it all the time. I love butter too. I crave salty and sweet foods. I don't mind bitter or sour, but I don't crave them. I like milk, eggs, meat, white rice, cooked vegetables, spicy food (cayenne), fried food, fruit, chocolate, and coffee. I crave beef almost all the time. I like warm food and cold drinks, but not at the same time.
There aren't many foods I dislike. I can't think of many. But I don't care for cold food, dry food, warm drinks, or raw vegetables.

b)Anything else about like and dislike of any activity with you or surrounding.
ANS. I really dislike being upside down. When I receive bodywork, such as massage, I need something under my head or I get dizzy and nauseous. I cannot ride of roller coasters or thrill rides because of dizziness, and the same with some car rides if I can't see the road or if there is a lack of fresh air.

I have an aversion to too much light such as sun or bright indoor lights. My senses become overloaded and I can get irritable with too much exposure. The same goes for noise, too much for too long is overloading.

8. Bowel movements.
a)Nature of stool, frequency, satisfactory or not.
ANS. I have a bowel movement at least once per day. They are satisfactory. There was a short period of time in the past six months where it felt like only half would come out and the rest wouldn't, but that hasn't happened since.
b)Any discomforts associated with stool.
ANS. Occasionally I have noticed a small amount of blood on the paper. No blood has been seen in the toilet, only on the paper in small amounts. This happens very infrequently, and I have not been able to observe why it happens.

9. Urine.
a)Frequency, nature, volume.
ANS. Since my thirst is high and I drink many liquids, I urinate very frequently. Sometimes it seems like too often, and it becomes an inconvenience.
b)Any discomfort before, during or after urination/odour
ANS. No discomforts. Although, sometimes it has a strong odor, usually in the morning. The color is usually very light yellow.

10. For men.
a)Any difference in erection/want of erection/weak erection/Ejaculation early/late.
ANS. There has been no change in erection. No troubles with erection.
b)Any other trouble in sex.
ANS. No trouble in sex. Although, if I ejaculate too many times in a short period, I will get stressed in the kidney area that has been causing trouble.

11. For Females.
a)Menses, Regular, Irregular,Early, Late.
ANS.
b)Duration of menses.
ANS.
c)Nature of flow, Scanty, Blood colour, Consistency, Odour, Staining, itching/ when and what makes it worse/better.
ANS.

12. Sleep.
a)The quality of sleep, the quietness or restlessness of sleep,
position of sleep, times of waking and reasons for waking,
need for cover over various parts of the body,
whether the window must be open or closed etc.
common dreams, peculiar sounds or gestures during sleep, etc.
ANS. I have no trouble falling asleep. When I am asleep, it feels deep. However, oftentimes I wake with that feeling in my kidneys and it feels like I have not slept at all. This reminds me, a few years ago I used to lift weights at around midnight because I could have the gym all to myself, then I would go home to eat and go straight to bed. I did this quite regularly for a year or so. I mention this because I believe it may have stimulated my sympathetic nervous system during sleep, although I did not have the same symptoms then. It was 2-3 years ago.
I like to become tired in bed by lying on my back, and when I become tired I like to sleep on either of my sides. I do not wake during the night. I desperately wish for the window to be open, even in the winter months.
I am not completely positive on this, but I think I may still grind my teeth at night. My partner mentioned that she thinks she has heard it. No other strange sounds or gestures.
In the past month, I have been sweating way more than normal at night. The weather is hot because of the summer, but I am sweating more than normal even for that.

13. Sweat
a)How much, what parts, staining, Odour.
ANS. Sweating a lot. Mostly under my pectoralis, but also a lot at the back of my neck. In the middle of the day, I will feel sweat rolling down from under my pectoralis, which is not normal for me. At night, the back of my neck perspires and makes my pillow wet.
Aside from those two areas, I have been sweating all over more than usual. For example, if I get up from a massage, the sheet below will wet where my skin has touched. And at night I will wake up with wet sheets.
This has been happening at an abnormal rate only in the past month. There is no odor or staining.

14. Weather
a)Tolerance to heat and cold, dryness, humidity, weather changes, sun,
foggy weather, wind drafts, closed rooms, etc.
ANS. Hot or cold weather do not seem to bother me too much either way. Of course, too much of either will not be good. As a youth I have been sensitive to weather changes, having bloody noses at times. I am fond of foggy weather. Cool and humid seem nice to me. I like cool breezes when its hot weather, but not a wind draft when the weather is cold. I do not like closed rooms, I prefer to have a door or window open.

15. Mental Status
a)The quality of the patient's life in relationship to loved ones, family, friends and colleagues. Overall quality of energy available to function in daily life, and under various circumstances.
ANS. I always try to maintain a calm, patient, peaceful, and caring attitude toward the people I interact with. However, maintaining this takes huge physical effort. Most of the time there is so much stress in my body that I have a hard time smiling. My relationships are good, but its a struggle to keep my energy up to perform in daily tasks.
b)Any mental/emotional shocks occurring in the patient's life-grief, major financial losses separation from loved ones, death, identity crisis and other stress in life.
ANS. Yes there have been many mental and emotional shocks in my life. Family shocks from parents who have been out of control, exposed to situations where I have been powerless to help the people I love and who care for me, deaths in the family, separation from mother and father at various times, intimate relationship shocks, and financial loss.
These have been very impactful on my mind and body. It seems my mind is clever at understanding these shocks from outside perspectives, but my body holds the imprints.
c)Memory,ability to concentrate/comprehend.
ANS. I am comfortable with my mental performance. Although, if my body is going through a stressful state, then my mind gets distracted and my whole being becomes tired so I wouldn't be able to concentrate for as long as I normally would.
d)Are you fearful of anything eg: Animals, people, being alone, darkness, death, disease, robbers, thunder, storm, high places.
ANS. I am afraid of being left, as in someone choosing to leave me because I am not worth their time. I crave touch from people, as a comfort and reassurance that they have not left.
I am afraid of swimming in deep, dark water.
I am afraid of not being able to perform the way I want to.
e)Are you anxious about anything: if yes, give details.
ANS. I get anxious when people criticize me. It makes me feel unvalued and unloved. It seems I have a strong need to feel valued by people.
I get anxious when I don't hear from my loved ones for a longer time than normal. I worry about what might have happened to them.
I also get anxious when my body doesn't feel like it can accommodate my mind's desires. I feel anxious when I can't perform, which makes the situation worse because my body then feels like acid is running through my veins and my muscle start to burn all over and then I really can't perform well.
f)Are you impatient.
ANS. I would have to say yes. When I was younger, I was very impatient with other people. I have worked on that quality and have transformed a lot of it, although the impatience is still there in some aspects such as expectations of myself and dissatisfaction not completing certain successful steps in my life yet.
g)Are you doubtful or suspicious.
ANS. I am very doubtful and suspicious. I doubt myself and my abilities. I doubt other people's motives and intentions. I doubt that people really value me and love me. I am suspicious that people don't really like me and are just pretending.
h)Are you hurt easily (emotionally)how do you react. Does it cause hatred/revenge.
ANS. I am very easily hurt. My reaction tends to be anger and disgust and a desire to leave altogether. For example, if someone criticizes me in a way that I don't feel was necessary, then I will question their motives and if they really care, and then I will want to leave and not deal with them at all. Even banish them from my life. Although this does not fit in with my values, but just an emotional reaction.
i)Does your pride get hurt easily.
ANS. I don't see my pride getting hurt that easily for simple things, but when I sense people using their pride against mine, I will grow very impatient of that and criticize them in my mind and simply not talk to them or give them my attention even if I have to remain around them.
j)Are you depressed, if so, reason/circumstances.
ANS. I am not depressed, however, I feel depression and despair to an extreme if I have a hypoglycemic episode.
k)Do you like to share your problems.
ANS. I really do like to share my problems, but only if I think someone actually cares and will listen. I will not share my problems to just anyone.
l)Effect of consolation.
ANS. The effect of consolation is really great. I feel much better mentally, but my body may still feel stressed.
m)Do you ever become suicidal when? How.
ANS. Only during hypoglycemic episodes I will feel like I can't do anything and that it's not worth trying so I might as well die.
n)Memory- quality if poor, for what ( eg. Names, places, people, what you read).
ANS. My memory is good. Although sometimes I will forget to do a chore or task that was asked of me.
o)Do you weep easily, effect of weeping, ie, does it make you worse or better.
ANS. I don't always weep easily. Although, there are periods where it feels like just about anything could make me weep. But this is not very frequent. When I do weep, I feel much better. I would say weeping is one of the best remedies I've experienced so far. Sometimes i wish I could cry for hours because I know it would make me feel better.
p)Are you easily irritated. What makes you angry, how do you express it.
ANS. I only really become irritated when my blood sugar gets low. I get angry when I feel like things aren't fair and I don't feel like I have the power to do anything about it. I very rarely express anger. When I do, I raise my voice to the person I think was unfair and call them out on my perceived injustice.
q)Are you destructive.
ANS. I am not outwardly destructive, but I believe that I self-sabotage. For example, I won't pay a bill that I know needs to be paid, or I wont eat when I know I need to eat.
r)How good are you in making decisions.
ANS. I believe I am capable of making level-headed decisions.
s)Do you like company or like to remain alone.
ANS. I like company, but as an introvert, I enjoy my alone time. I need a lot of time to process information that I have received from the world. But in general, I like to be around people.
t)How seriously are you affected by disorder and uncleanness in your surroundings.
ANS. I think I am quite affected by disorder in my surroundings. My living space is usually messy, but not unclean. I always feel much better when I get things in order. I just don't feel like I have the daily energy to maintain order in my surroundings.
u)How does failure appear to you?
ANS. Failure appears abysmal to me. I recognize perfectionism in myself, and so failure is really devastating. I will usually not engage an activity if I anticipate failure.
v)Are there any matters that you deeply dislike?
ANS. I deeply dislike materialism, superficiality, and hidden ill intent.

w)What activities you deeply like? How does it affect your mood?
ANS. I deeply enjoy laying down, especially with my partner. It makes me feel comforted and relaxed with a sense that I don't have to do anything else. The restlessness disappears. I also like wading and floating in crystal clear water. That makes me feel refreshed and cleansed and cooled down and joyful.
x)Are you affectionate? How does others sorrow affect you?
ANS. I am very affectionate with the people I have established touch with. Sometimes I resist giving affection in fear of rejection, as in them not wanting to be touched at that time. Others' sorrow affect me deeply. I want to care for them and touch them.
y)Any present fears in your life or future.
ANS. Most of my fears about my life and future revolve around feeling like I can't do the things I want to do because of a fear of failure. I fear I won't be successful or that I won't be able to fulfill my potential.
z)Any present life or future life desires.
ANS. I have many desires for my life. I want to start a nonprofit serving the underserved, I want to plant millions of trees in an effort to reforest, I want to make herbal medicines for people, I want to learn many healing modalities, I want to create a safe place for people, I want to establish and maintain a homestead for my loved ones, I want to be healthy and vibrant, and I want to grow herbs.
