Very nice dr. akshaymohla. This is how homeopaths should prescribe.... It makes me crazy when people here keep on insisting for filling out a long long questionnaires when in most of the cases, the description given by the patient is enough to reach to the correct remedy right away.

Asad,

Dr. Mohla is a homeopathic MD,
30 years experience and a real
practice. He is also an eye expert and has developed medicines
for eyes. We are lucky to have him on here.

Many levels of education and experience on here, taking a case is
how people learn to improve their skills.

I suppose you think homeopaths like Dr. Andrew Saine are just
"stupid" for taking a case in detail.

Or Hahnemann himself was wrong when he looked for strange,
rare and peculiar symptoms, which you won't know if someone
writes 5 lines about their problem.

What if a patient has clearly mentioned those strange & unique symptoms of a particular remedy, which in most cases happens?? Should we still insist on filling out that long questionnaire?

BTW simone, I have met homeopaths who often prescribe constitutional remedy by just staring at the patient while the patient walks into their room. Some of them used to let the patient speak, asked leading questions & then listened carefully, just for mental satisfaction of the patient. Others who didn't listen much, patients usually complained initially but then, when the remedy worked, they were amazed by the results.

One such doctor, with whom I worked, for around 2 years, usually wrote down a remedy on the paper by just looking at the patient & then, when the patient would start explaining himself, he used to ask me to open the Meteria medica & read the symptoms of that remedy which he already had written on the paper. Most of the times, I was surprised to find almost exact match. Many patients disliked him as he was not a good listener at all.

On the homeopaths you mentioned-

I am not surprised they can do that as it is Face to Face prescribing- where you can use all diagnostic tools to observe-and there is a culture difference with Western and Eastern
homeopaths on how they handle Face to Face patients in an office setting.
You are comparing face to face with ONLINE prescribing, which many homeopaths won't do at all. And a huge
amount of homeopaths will not do children online or even skype because
they want to observe the behavior and look at the interaction between
the child and the parents. Dr. Mohla himself will not do children online.

I have probably read almost every case on here for 4 years. And no,
people do not mention the strange and peculiar in most cases, in most
cases they leave out very important information, like asking for
help in one thing and then you find out there are other things much
worse going on, or they have taken tons of homeo medicine or allopathic
medicine which is causing what they are asking about- these are just
a few common things that go on here constantly.

If you want to prescribe with little info that is your choice. If you don't want
to read the form and think you know better, then take those cases
or simply do not read the case if it "annoys" you because it has standard intake form.

Dr. Akshay Mohla, blinking appears to be less now but my son tries not to open the eye fully as he think by opening fully blinking occurs.
blinking appears to be noticeable in the evening in comparison to whole day.
Should I give him weekly dose of Causticum 200 which was otherwise due on 29th.
Kindly suggest further protocol. thanks
