Remedy after antibiotics

Hello--I was wondering what the recommended waiting time is to take a remedy following a course of antibiotics.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There is no hard and fast rule that you should wait this many days after taking antibiotics. People even take homeopathic medicine and continue with the allopathic even (though not a good practice).

Often people who have been on allopathic medicine for long time, even homeopaths advice them not to discontinue it and give them homeo medicine to be continued.

Now it depends, which remedy you want to take e.g. if you have completed the course of antibiotics and you are feeling good and now you decide to take nux v. It will antidote the allopathic mdcn and you will be back to square 1. So its very imp which remedy and for which symptoms you are taking.

Thank you for your reply mani jee. I will be taking a 30c Calcarea Carbonica for a variety of symptoms.

Calc is a deep acting remedy, so you need to be careful with its use especially, the repetition must not be too frequent.

Allen says:
- In children it may be often repeated.
- In aged people should not be repeated; especially if the first dose benefited, it will usually.

Clarke says, "Calcarea is one of the greatest monuments to Dr. Hahnemann's genius. The triad of remedies, viz., Sulphur, Calcarea and Lycopodium can be called Hahnemann's magnificient gifts to humanity. Indeed, we shall be extremely poor without these excellent remedies - Sulphur, the predominant antipsoric, Calc-c, the excellent antisycotic and Lyc., the marvellous anti-syphilitic."
