Myoclonic jerks while falling asleep

Hello Drs,

I am getting jerks just before falling asleep last 1 year. I could not able to sleep till 2-3 AM.Also, sometimes I feel a sense of free fall just before falling asleep. I have tried allopathic medicines like clonazepam for 1 month, but that gave me huge side effects. I feel severe pain in my neck, shoulder, back of head and in legs. Also, my head is very heavy all the time and feel depressed and extremely tired all the time. Request you to suggest remedy for this problem. My life is in huge problem due these issues and there is no peace in mind from long time.

Thank you very much.

Please help me.

Regards,

SMukherjee

do you remember how your problems started ? it is important because it may throw light on what may be wrong and the line of treatment to be followed.

The first symptom was not getting sleep. That was around June 2014. I did not realize the issue then. Later around Feb-2015 I realized and went to neuropath. He prescribed me clonazepam.
