Sameer seems to be gone, does anyone else want to take my case? Page 4 of 4

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take a dose of Hepar Sulphuris Calcareum 30c.

Dissolve 1 pellet in 250 ml spring water, this is your remedy bottle.

Take out 1 spoon from the remedy bottle in another 120 ml spring water in a cup, stir well and take a spoon from the cup as dose. Discard the rest of the solution in the cup away. Dispose the cup and spoon as well.

Report in 2 days.

What is the optimal amount of time to wait between the 1st and 2nd doses? I did take the remedy several days ago, but I may or may not have already antidoted it. Just before I took it, the rash got really bad again. I took the remedy but shortly after that, I put a bunch of essential oils on my skin that are supposed to kill scabies. It was an emergency, I couldn't do anything except scratch until I bled, and I figured it was better than using the toxic stuff from the doctor. Anyway I'm unclear on whether scabies has ever been cured with homeopathy, it seems implausible. It has gotten better again (but it's not gone, it's just mild enough that I can sleep and stuff) but since I did both, I don't know whether the improvement is from the remedy or the other stuff. Since it isn't as bad as it was, for the 2nd dose I will have more willpower to just ride it out and see what happens. I think my cats might be reinfesting me so I guess I need to treat them too.

The optimal time between water doses is to re-dose just before you would relapse. To find that 'optimal time', one needs to let the first dose play out and evaluate carefully during this interval. Think of the first dose as a test dose, based on which you can learn a lot about what should be done with the next dose.

How is your ear pain now?

When was the dose taken?

I think it was 6 days ago that I took it. The ear pain comes and goes. Even when it is there, it is bearable now.

Wait for 2-3 more days.

What should I do for cats? Even though I read that they can't get the same species of mites, I know what I see: One of them has scratched off a patch of fur, they don't go outside, and they don't have fleas, so it is the same mites.

I have some questions. The first question is, has scabies ever been successfully cured with homeopathy, without using any other medicines? I know that homeopathy works for normal human diseases, but scabies is an insect infestation, so it seems a little like taking a remedy because I have roaches in my house. I just want to know if it has been done. The second question is whether any of the home remedies can be safely used along with homeopathy. I know the oils can't, that was just a desperate situation, but is there anything I'm allowed to do to keep them under control so that they don't get that bad again? I don't fully understand why exterminating them is a bad thing to do, but it's partly because it's so counterintuitive that I'm willing to accept it; it doesn't make enough sense to be a baseless assumption. It's just that living with them is not an option. I can't even be around my son, I've had to quarantine myself. I need to find the acceptable middle ground between holistic healing and aggressive intervention.

Salt baths are ok I hope? That's the thing that helps the most. Update: I have new outbreaks on my hands today, so the bugs are still alive and reproducing. It's not too bad for now, but of course I'm worried it could get horrible again any day. The ear pain is gone.

I am falling apart mentally and emotionally, even more than usual. The isolation is too much, and the worst part is knowing that fixing the physical problem will not fix it. I was isolated before it started, and I will still be isolated after it is gone. I don't want to feel better, I don't want to reconcile myself to it, because a life lived in a vacuum has no purpose. I have no connection to the world. There is nobody I can call, nobody I can just have a friendly conversation with to feel like I'm not completely alone. If I just disappeared, nobody would notice. It's hard to even see much point in getting better, physical comfort is better than the lack of it but it's not enough, I'd rather be itchy and have a friend than be in perfect health but be alone.

I've been reading the scabies forums, and it's scary because there are people who have had it for 10 years. I'm currently spending all my time and money dealing with the scabies situation, and there are things that I want to do and I can't. I want to get my computer fixed so I can get back to a hobby I liked which gave some sense of fulfillment (all my stuff for it is saved on there) but I can't because there is always something else that comes up, such as this. It's like the universe is trying to send me a message. I feel like if I could just have some sense of connection or belonging, everything else would start to get better too, because there would be hope.

Can you put all your symptoms down here, I will help you until your practitioner comes back

I have scabies and I'm depressed and lonely. He'll be back, I would feel disloyal, but thank you. I was already depressed and lonely before I had scabies, it's probably what made me susceptible to it, there is no logical way for me to have caught it, I'm a hermit, I haven't had physical contact with anyone but my son so at first I assumed I caught it from him but he doesn't seem to have it. It's like it spontaneously generated. And now the cats have it and it will cost me a fortune to take them to the vet and even then we will probably all re-catch it from each other and apparently people can have it for 10 years and even if I somehow get rid of the scabies I will still be lonely, and I don't think there's a remedy that can fix that. :(

Don’t know what you mean by this - “Sameer seems to be gone, does anyone else want to take my case?”

Zady101 6 years ago
Hi zady,
She has been working with Sameer for years.
Sameer is rarely on here anymore, so when she started this thread,
She had no idea if Sameer was still reading the forum or going to
Respond.

simone717 6 years ago
Yeah Simone...but results are less than satisfactory!

Zady101 6 years ago
It is a difficult case. If you happen to spot the remedy, and it's something that hasn't been tried, then of course please say what it is.

As far as I understand things, if your immune system is in tip top shape,
Bugs like scabies and lice are not attracted to you- per dr showrav from a post years ago.

But how many people are in that level of health?

I know when the school notified me that several
Grades had lice , it took me 2 to 3 weeks of
Everyone using rid on their hair, and every other day washing all towels bedding, blankets , clothes in hot water to finally
Stop it.
For cats, they need hair clipped and dipped in a
Bath solution every xxx days and it can take 8 weeks of this.
So one has to be ready for the battle on yourself and animals
Until you are free of it. Being depressed and lonely is a different
Long standing issue .
She can certainly make a thread for your help if
She wants to try another approach.
Lisa has another posts on the cats which kadwa and Maheeru have prescribed on, but since they are also on her..
Then cats could still get them until she is clear.

Skin symptoms:
I haven't had a major flare-up in a week, but I don't dare to assume that it is over, but nonetheless I will list only current symptoms.
I have the characteristic little red bumps between my fingers and toes, not in the webbing, but along the sides of the fingers, and also along the sides of my hands.
Also the itching deep within my skin, which is worst in my hands and forearms.
At first it was worst at night, but it has rotated and now gets worse toward morning.
I also have bumps in various places that look like mosquito bites and are surrounded by redness.
All symptoms are worst in my hands and feet and next-worse in my arms and legs, but I also have patches in my underarms and on my waist. Random itches can pop up anywhere.
My skin bleeds easily when I scratch. I have scabs all over where I have scratched too hard, and I compulsively pick at them even though I wish I would leave them alone and let them heal.
The skin on my lower face and neck has gotten dry and scaly. The sides of my mouth feel itchy and crawly like I'm about to break out in a bunch of cold sores.
I get creeping sensations on my skin.
The main thing that helps the itching is bathing in salt water.

Various:
My sleep cycle is really messed up. Not a new symptom, but it is interfering with my life. I sleep from about 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is not a good situation. I want to lie in bed all day because I feel sad, and it is comforting, but of course I can't do that.
I don't have much of an appetite, my diet lately consists mostly of garlic and apple cider vinegar but that's just because I read that they help fight scabies. The food that I make is just a vehicle for the garlic and vinegar. I happen to like garlic and vinegar anyway, though.
I have quit drinking coffee because I think it might aggravate the scabies (or maybe it's sugar, which I'm also avoiding.)

To be continued.

Simone I can work on her case if she creates a new thread with my name and notifies me. In any case, i see no harm in working with a different practitioner qtleast for a while

For now I will wait patiently. I'm probably going to try another dose of the current remedy because I think I probably antidoted it. I suspect that anything sulphur-related can help with scabies, because I definitely had the beginning of an outbreak a few years ago, the bumps between the fingers are unmistakable, and then I took Beryllium Sulphuricum for something unrelated and it disappeared. But it wasn't very far along, so it's possible that my immune system was going to fight it off anyway. Or maybe I should take some Beryllium Sulphuricum, since that might have helped before. I can't find a description of it anywhere so I don't even know what the indications are. Do my instincts here seem correct? I'm not going to start another thread right now, I'm going to post current symptoms here, but if you have any insights I would be grateful for them.

I had scabies once in the '90s, I used the ointment from the doctor and they eventually went away. I later learned that this is "suppression," but I don't really get the suppression thing, it seems like magical nonsense to me, but I'm just taking it on faith and trying to find a compromise. The last thing I would want is to make my mental symptoms worse, all I've ever wanted is to be better. I do get that it's probably a bad idea to smear poison all over my skin once a week, especially with cats around, permethrin is so toxic to them that it can kill them. But obviously the goal is for the bugs to die, so I don't understand why it matters how that is accomplished. I read that the immune system can only prevent an infestation but can't do anything about it once it has happened. If homeopathy works by stimulating our own healing powers, then it would still be limited by what is actually physically possible. I want to believe, but I can't find any references to a specific case where it has been done.

Part of the sleep situation is that I just don't have any energy until I've already been up for hours. If I get up at 2, by 7 I will feel fully awake, and by 10 I will have some momentum going and be able to get work done, so I can't possibly go to bed. The thing I dislike the most about this sleep cycle is that it's one more thing separating me from the world: for most of the hours that I'm awake, nothing is open and people aren't up. It's not like it matters much anyway because being on the same schedule as other people has never magically made me fit in with them, but it makes me more acutely aware of my isolation, as having scabies also does. It's one more barrier.

The rash has returned under my chin, and the prickling sensations in my skin are back. I cannot risk having another full-blown scabies horror show where I want to rip my skin off, so I'm going to have to put something on it.

Hi Lisa,

Scabies are real living bugs- you are not suppressing anything by using
Ointment to kill them. It is not like eczema which
Is an internal condition that the body is pushing out to the skin and ointment
Suppresses the symptom and drives it deeper into the body and then many people get allergies bc the eczema was suppressed.

When I used lice shampoo on my family I was killing bugs- not suppressing
Anything. Same thing as scabies.

simone717 6 years ago
That's what I figured too, that's what makes sense to me, but if you read homeopathy literature there are many references to suppressed scabies and all the problems it can cause. And if a remedy could give me an immunity then that would be more lasting anyway. But it feels irresponsible to let them live and proliferate, that's how they get spread to other people. So the only way is to attack it from both angles at the same time. I haven't used the permethrin because I read that it can kill cats, and there's no chance that they wouldn't walk on me while I'm sleeping and then lick themselves, and I'm not going to risk poisoning them, but there are other things that kill scabies. I'm obviously keeping the population down, but they're not eliminated, and I think the main reason is that the cats keep giving them back to me. I wash my bedclothes every day but that only helps so much if cats come and get in bed with me. They go to the vet on Wednesday, I'll probably try to give them a bath before that, I don't think I can shave them though, I don't have one of those hair clippers and I wouldn't know how to use it if I did, and I don't foresee them sitting still for it. But I'll do what I can.

I do not know what you are reading but hahnemann
Did not know scabies were real bugs - he thought they were a skin ailment
Because they did not have the tools at that time to see what
They actually are.
