My daughter was born on 17th july 2015 at 3.07 Am.From birth white fluid filled blister started appearing mainly on limbs with one or two blisters on chest fingers & hand. We reffered to various doctors and an antibiotic zadimac-ps with salt ceftazidime 250mg & tazobactam 31.25 mg were injected for fourteen days two times a day. blister formation have reduced but not fully. otherwise baby is fine. she has gained 1200gm weight, takes proper feed with no fever.some doctors have recommended that it is a genetic disorder. kindly guide

the blister are not because of any major causes It is simply because of hot and dry climate. follow the following instruction :
always put a cotton folded cloth (like cotton saree ) On bed where u baby sleep .bath ur baby daily with room temperature water.keep the room humidity high by using cooler(do not make the room too cold the baby might catch cold) or jut put wet cloth on window . Give her water to drink time to time(little water in every 15 to 30 min).Every body is different type i saw many kid with symptoms like this.Do not worri if the cause were major she would not been healthy. She is a healthy child .For now give her only one dose of ipecac 30 .If u uuse ipecac 30 in pills mix 4-6 pills in a spoon of water and feed it to her Or if u use ipecac 30 in tincture simply add two drops of it in water spoon of water and give it to her.

Thank You Dr. sir. yesterday i went to a local homopath who has told me that it is a genetic disorder, which will be treated but treatment will be for one year. he has given a small dose of sulfur yesterday and have asked to visit him after 48 hours. During this period 3 to 4 blisters might come up. It has been 28 hrs since sulfur was given. one blister of approx 3mm have come up on the inner side of right toe. kindly guide

do not give ipecac 30 for now it might react with sulfur. The blister due to heat is a kind of genetic disorder in her body but not major one which will take a year to cure .Every kid have many minor problem like some always caught cold too early and have sticky noses all the time, some always vomit after eating, etc .They have those minor genetic disorder because there body are and dynamic growing stage .it all go away in a year or two .First of all follow the simple instruction i have given above .THere i no need to give medicines for a year to a healthy child.

which potency of sulfur did u use?

gaintrox 8 years ago
I am very thankful to you sir for your advice & my family appreciates & will follow it, but i want to clarify here that the climate at this place at her birth in July & now also is not dry but HUMID.

varunsodhi2008 8 years ago
It is humid but not enough for infants the recommended humid is 50-70%.

Right sir; one thing more these blisters occur at an interval of 3 to 4 days & recently blood has also stated coming in the blisters. The potency of sulfur used is not known to me.

from when the blood started coming out.

gaintrox 8 years ago
from 2 nd august blood started coming in blisters & when blisters get ruptured an open wound was formed on which we use to apply muropcin & betadin. Allopathy doctors suggested that it is a bacterial infection caused by bacteria acquired from Hospital. Skin specialist has suggested that it is Epidermyolisis Bullase an acute skin disease in which blisters are caused by friction between the body parts & in this case it is the limbs in which due to movement of the legs blisters are formed. However the skin specialist was not sure & he has recommended skin biopsy for it. the child being too young we have not made up our mind for biopsy but to opt for Homopathy treatment as it has no side effect.

No there is no discolouration of nails.
Child being only 53 days old so cannot tell if the scars are itchy or not.
Have u observed the picture of blood filed blister on the back of the foot

varunsodhi2008 8 years ago
The image of the blister which u have posted somehow resembles the blister of my daughter.

varunsodhi2008 8 years ago
at the last if i was confuse.I thought they are rashes but after zooming the pic i find out it was powder.
Long as i think it is still because of heat(these are similar to those blister we get when we walk for long and got blister on our toes i have put a pic of that kind of blister) .From here i can only suggest a treatment for week or two.Homeopathy is safe but not necessary it do have side effects and it is a delicated case(as she is less than 3 month child). So, for long term treatment it is best to see someone in in person. In finding a good doctor here in this forum a member (ID name simone717) can help u.

have u observing any improvement after following those instruction?

here i have put another pic
as she is very young simply heat can do it
