Stiffness in the back

I was doing some yoga exercises a few days ago. Perhaps in an incorrect posture- and experienced a sharp pain in my lower back. Took a muscle relaxant, which helped only marginally.Also took a pian liller. Didn't help.
I thought I was getter better, by taking sufficient rest and taking it easy, but some stiffness returned today.
I feel the portion from the middle of my spine all the way down is very stiff.
I exercise - yoga, tennis etc, though haven't done so for the last one month.I do walk everyday. Today, I couldn't.
End up sitting for a couple of hours at the PC. Getting up, I realise I have a stiff neck and pain in the shoulder blades.
The back is bothering me. I read some previous posts on backaches. Is Rhus Tox a good remedy for me?Please can someone advise?
