Bacterial Overgrowth in Fishtank

Does anybody have any idea about how to treat an bacterial "algae" in a Fishtank with homeopathy?
The bacteria is called Cyanobacteria, or Blue-Green Algae. It's not a true algae, rather a bacteria, caused by an outside pollution, in my case. (I had purchased some contaminated plants a while back).
Google tells me my options are aggressive water changes(done that), turning off the lights for at least three days, then more water changes, and a course of antibiotics which will wipe out the beneficial bacteria in the tank as well. I really would like to avoid that, and I can't very well turn the lights off for that long since I have a heavily planted, high intensity light-needing live plant situation.

This bacteria has the ability to fix its own nitrogen levels, and feeds off of excess nitrogen and phosphate levels.
Any suggestions for a possible remedy to help would be appreciated!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try a dose (10 pellets or 10 drops) of Natrum Muriaticum 200 and wait for 3 days.

If this doesn't work try Carbonalis Vegetabilis 200c.

Thank you! Nat. Mur worked! However I waited a full week to make sure since that was how long it was taking the green stuff to grow back each time.
Also, interestingly enough, following treatment I had a sudden burst in snail population 😳. Ugh. Mustve just made the water parameters favorable for hatching.
Anyways, thanks for the help!

I am glad it worked.

Hey John - what do you think about this???
I've still got it going on in my Fishtank.
I just tried Calc carb 30c two weeks ago and it seems to have slowed the growth of the bacteria, but that's about it.
