The ABC Homeopathy Forum

elderly dog with dementia

I have an elderly dog who has canine cognitive dysfunction. She has all the symptoms of an elderly person - weak, tired, appetite loss, but the worst part is she is restless during the night. Just like in human sundowners, when the lights go out, she becomes restless, paces and circles. She seems to be confused as to how to get back in bed and gets stuck in small spaces. I have nux vomica and arsenicum album. Would any of these remedies help her. I am okay with her being an old dog, it's just her inability to sleep and the confusion at night I wish I could change.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give her Nux Vomica and see how she responds.
