Help with Thyroid

Hello. I am new to this forum. I am a 33 y. old female who has been diagnosed with a post-partum thyroid condition. I have taken various dosages of Synthroid for about 3 years. My oldest child is 3 1/2 and my youngest is 18 months. I am currently taking .88mcg. I am wanting to stop the Snythroid altogether and start taking something natural such as Sea-adine. Has anyone heard of it? How does it work? What would be the proper dosage in the beginning and then ongoing?? Is it best to stop the Snythroid all at once or taper off the drug.

I am having trouble with weight loss although I am not gaining. I am very active and work out 6-7 times per week. I am having a hard time losing stomach weight as well. I have read about some of the effects of Synthroid and, frankly, I am worried that I have done permanent damage to my body. From what I have read, Snthyroid may be the reason that I have stomach weight to begin with.

Could someone please help me with my questions regarding Sea-adine. If this wouldn't be the best alternative, what would the alternatives be?

Thank you!
