histaminum hydrochloricum
HI,I tried giving my son 30C of histaminum hydrochloricum for his runny nose/allergies. A few hours later, he had hives all over him and was extremely itchy. I gave him a bath in baking soda and rubbed tea trea oil/lavender in some coconut oil on his skin. His skin seemed to calm down until this afternoon. It started itching again all over. I bought some benadryl and gave it to him. After 30 minutes, he was still itching (I'm not sure how long it takes to kick in). I put some more tea trea/lavender on him and it stopped itching. My question is, why did this remedy cause those symptoms and why did the symptoms return today even though he did not take any more of that remedy? Is there a "get worse before it gets better" rule with homeopathy, or does it mean it's the wrong remedy. Any help would be appreciated.
