Attention Simone: Help needed for finger joint injury

Dear Simone,

I was diagnosed with strained tendons and ligaments of my left middle finger knuckle joint due to repetitive motion.

4 weeks ago I was busy gardening. I repeatedly raked and picked up leaves for several days. I was constantly wrapping my left finger joints around the broom handle.

Initially the left middle knuckle joint became stiff, painful and swollen. I was unable to bend or flex it. I applied homeopathic sports injury cream, took several doses of Arnica followed by Rhus Tox which relieved the stiffness and intense pain.

At this time there is swelling on both sides of knuckle, left side is more swollen. Collateral ligaments are affected. On the palm side of finger there is swelling of flexor extension tendons area. I feel mild pain on top of knuckle joint and collateral ligament region when I apply pressure and flex the knuckle joint. Mild stiffness and occasional cracking noises upon joint flexion only. Symptoms are aggravated by damp, cold wet weather. I prefer heat.

I hope that you will recommend a remedy for me. Sincere thanks. Declan
