Hello, I suffer from food allergies and bile reflux. Although I am trying to deal with my food allergies (they're IgE, type 1 allergies not intolerances) I cannot avoid all of them as I am allergic to a protein present in all plants. So when it comes to fruit and veg, I try to eat what I react less to (if it makes any sense). I consider my diet to be healthy, I eat organic, gluten free, dairy free, I avoid processed foods, I don't drink alcohol and limit sugar. My main and worst symptom though is bile reflux. This has been diagnosed through an endoscopy, where they also excluded H Pylori. I can literally feel that the bile is eating away my throat. It happens any time during the day and especially at night time. I already take some herbal remedies like licorice root, ginger and others, but with little improvement. Bile reflux also caused gastritis. I wonder if out there there is any remedy that can affect the bile flow and a remedy that can help in healing the mucosa of my throat. This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is very likely that you suffer from Hyperacidity or Gastritis, aka GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux Disease) and I shall copy my default therapy that has helped hundreds of patients to overcome this disease for which doctors usually prescribe PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitor) drugs which are dangerous and can cause many other more serious problem when used in the long term.
You will hopefully discover that my therapy aka "Joepathy" will help you within 24 hours after you have taken your first dose after a meal.
The remedies you will order are as follows:
Nat Phos 6x dose 2-4 tablets taken immediately after each of 3 meals.
This remedy accelerates the passage of food down the gut and prevents the formation of acid which would otherwise reflux causing GERD.
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.
This remedy works to repair the damaged Esophagus which has metastasised to resemble the gut to deal with the Hcl refluxed into it causing severe distress. Arnica works with the Nat Phos to speedily cure the problem.
You can also take a PROBIOTIC like Bifilac daily. A Probiotic will help by changing the balance of the Bacteria in the gut and will contribute to your cure and help to ensure that your problem does not recur. After your problem with GERD is stabilised you can take the Arnica in the Wet dose nightly before bed for life. You do not need to take Nat Phos daily but you will keep a stock to be used whenever you feel uncomfortable after a meal when you will take 2-3 tablets as necessary.
Please observe the following simple rules:
Do not eat large meals. Eat small meals but more often if you feel hungry. Do not drink more that a few sips of water after your meals. This is to prevent the further dilution of your gastric juice which can then reflux into your Esophagus which results in GERD.
It is important that you do not go to bed for at least 2 hours after dinner as food will take about this time to digest and it is best to stay awake and upright to enable your food to digest before going to bed.
No fatty food, alcohol, coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham, bacon as they contain Saltpeter which will antidote the remedies listed immediately.
If you suffer from a stomach ache or you feel your stomach puffing up before a meal during the day between meals, this is usually due to hunger pains, caused by your gastric juices attacking the inner lining and the wall of your stomach. The simple remedy is to eat some food like a biscuit or a banana between meals to keep the gastric juice away from digesting the stomach wall which results in a stomach ache which in some cases can be acute.
You must drink at least 3 liters of liquids, preferably water daily and you must also exercise for at least half hour daily. It is important to sweat it out as this is all part of my therapy to overcome GERD.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Liquid Alcohol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.
It is understood that the patient will stop all other drugs which s/he may be taking for this ailment.
Do not use Coffee, Cola beverages, preserved foods like sausages, ham and bacon as they contain Saltpeter.

Thank you so much for your reply and for your time. I'll look for those remedies and follow your advices. Just to make sure that you have my correct info, I do not suffer from hyperacidity, on the contrary I have been tested to measure my acidity level and it was slightly under normal values. I don't have much acid. But not alarmingly low. The problem is my bile, I was diagnosed through two endoscopies and it is indeed confirmed as bile reflux. They found a lot of bile in my stomach. My bile goes up instead of going down and inflame my throat and oesophagus. I had no operations before, they found only a small hiatus hernia. Bile differs from acid in the sense that well, it is alkaline, but mainly does not respond to medications easily. As a consequence of bile reflux and food allergies I am also constantly underweight. Hopefully this can help. Thank you

Yours is an interesting case but I must admit that I have never treated a patient for Bile refluxing up to the throat.
Nat Phos 6x works by accelerating Peristalsis and it is just possible that it may also fix your problem. I believe that if your digestive process is accelerated, there is a possibility that the extra Bile discharge you state you suffer from may be arrested and eventually cured.
NP is NOT a drug and is absolutely safe in use for both Babies and Adults. You can take 3-4 tablets per dose immediately after a meal and report your response in a few days.

I'll get the nat phos 6x and the arnica 30c in wet dose and follow your advice. I am in the UK and can't find the oral dose of arnica, I should be able to have it made, I'm asking for arnica 30c in liquid dilution of 5ml pref with dropper, right? I'll report back as soon as I can.

Hello and thank you again for your response. I got the arnica liquid but I got the natrum phos 6x in pillules. The remedies are made by Helios pharmacy. They explained to me that the only difference between tablets and pillules is that the tablets contain lactose. If you think the pillules won't work as well, I'll make another order.

What is the Diameter of the 'Pillules' and are the Biochemic Cell Salts?
You are advised to get Nat Phos 6x in tablets to avoid any future problems if these Pillules do not help you.

Also about the Nat Phos, I started with two tabs after lunch today, do I melt them under the tongue? And do I take them straight after the main meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner)?

Hi again! I just wanted to report the results of my first 2 doses of Nat Phos: it's terrible!!! It brought me severe heartburn within a short time, that bad I didn't have in a while! It's a different heartburn too, it felt acidic- It doesn't normally feel that way with bile reflux. It happened on both times I used it ( after lunch and after dinner) -Not sure I should carry on- It clearly feels like a worsening of the symptoms.

The produce you have got as Nat Phos 6x is NOT the Biochemic Cell Salt.
It is up to you to get this produce precisely as prescribed as there is no doubt that if you get it from another source, it must work.

Hi Joe, I'm really hoping you can help my son. He was born 2 months premature and has silent reflux, he is now almost 4 months corrected and has been on losec and Zantac however after reading your posts I have been giving him 1/2 tablet of Nat phos x6 Schuessler Tissue Salts before and 1/2 after, the only thing is he doesn't always eat the full amount in one go and can take up to 2 hours to complete breastmilk or formula. He makes gestures as though his hungery and it is time for him to eat but he turns his head, puts his hands in his mouth, gets frustrated and needs to be burped frequently because he's always swallowing air hence why it takes this long. I have been giving him the Nat phos for 7 days now, still the same amount and have been weening him off the losec, he said rated off on 1.5ml and his down to .07ml as off tonight however I can still smell the acid on his breath and it still wakes him up. He also has cried uncontrollably out of nowhere and I'm wondering if the Nat phos is working and if I'm doing the right thing for him?
