Dr. Kadwa UPDATE/ I have been sick for a week and need your advice
My husband started off 10 days ago with severe flu like symptoms. I started taking vitamins to boost my immune system, but a few days later I too got sick but not as severe. Low grade fever, head ache, body ache and sore throat. As the days past I had no fever and had started taking ferrum phos which often helps me with sore throat and phlegm. Day 3 no fever, no head ache and felt much better but throat was still very sore. As the day progressed my throat was so sore like stinging, especially when I swallowed.I have a history with tonsillitis and sore throat and found mercurius sol very helpful. Symptoms fit the remedy so I started taking it. Throat was red but had no visible pus. It stung right up to the ears. My lower limbs were in pain too. A numb painful sensation would pass through my hips down to my legs. It was more severe when I lay down to sleep and could only be relieved by painkillers. After mercurius sol 30c for 2 days no visible improvement on throat. Other than that I felt fine. No more body pain either.
My throat continued to hurt though. On waking there was pain and phlegm to clear, but as the morning passed I felt better. In the afternoon My throat started to feel worse again, very worse. Stinging pain, not so much at tonsils but further down. And a general feeling of illness. I would go to sleep and would abruptly wake from a tingling sensation in throat that would cause me to cough continuously. Only relieved if I sat up and in some cases had a warm drink.
My voice was hoarse too and it was painful to speak out load. I decided to take arsenicum alb 30c as the symptoms matched a great deal. I took it for 2 days. I feel better in the mornings, physical and mentally but towards the end of the day the symptoms ( red sore throat, eat pain ) resurface. Last dose yesterday.
What should I do? Should I wait. Or have I been taking the wrong remedies?

Thank you dr Kadwa, this helped me a lot. A few days after the last dose I had swollen glands on my left side exactly below the ear and a slight sore throat, I repeated once and the next day I felt fine!

Hello dr again. Since yesterday I have not been feeling well.
I have a sore throat again. It hurts when I swallow. My nose is running, with nasal discharge clear and hot like water. It runs when I bend over. I sneeze quite a bit and my sinuses are in pain. The more I blow my nose the more my sinuses hurt.
My whole head and face hurts. No fever.
Please advise, thank you.

Dr. I think I have a staph infection on my armpit. What I thought was a few pimples is turned into a lot more serious. My daughter had a staph infection on her nose that is why I suspect it's the same.

I would like to add that I'm feeling exhausted and depressed. I'm in a terrible mood and get irritated and angry easily. The staph is making me anxious as I find it's something difficult to get rid of.

Please take Sulphur 30 or 200 twice a day for 3 days.
