Ear infection

My 19month old daughter has had a chronic ear infection for about a month that will not go away. She has been on several antiobitocs but is not on any now. (None of them worked)and they want to put tubes in. I took her to a homeopath. She gave her Silicea 30C, one dose. She is clingy, wants to be held. Of all the homeopathic books I have read, none mention this remedy, but mention Chamiolla(sp?) I cannot find out anything about Silicea for ear infections. It has been about five days since that dose. She still has an infection in each ear.Should I swithc remedies?

How long should I wait before giving the Chamomilla?
