Congestion in throat and breathlessness

I am facing two problems:

1.) My throat is congested at times. May be once in 2-3 days. This is accompanied by breathlessness too.

2.)When i try to speak for longer times by mouth and throat dries up. It is OK after having water.

I have visited my doctor a couple of times and the reply i got was that this could be due to GERD(avoid spicy and fatty food) and may be anxiousness.

I would be happy if practioners/experts here can give me some suggestions or homeopathic remedies.

I took this medicine for a week. I did not feel a drastic change but the breathlessness feeling has subsided a bit. The Congestion is still there.
