chronic diarrhea
Dear SirI am 73 years old. I live in Canada. I have never gone out of Canada for the last 8 years.
I am mildly diabetic, have severe osteoarthritis and have edema on the whole body for more than 15 years.
I am taking 3 tablets (500 mg) per day for Diabetes
2 tabs of Tylenol Arthritis Pain Relief, twice a day, and
1 capsule of Remipril once a day for mild blood pressure. This I started only 8 months ago.
8 months before I started a capsule of Iron with 500 mg Vitamin C (for the better absorption of Iron) twice a day.
So with this medication ---
For the last 6-7 months I experienced that I was going to toilet 4-5 times a day. Although it was not regular but it was often. I thought it will be all right in near future.
But for the last 3-4 months now there arises a twisting pain in the stomach and then I have to go to toilet immediately. The stool is semi-liquid (not even semi-solid). Some times the need is so urgent that it is difficult even to reach to toilet which is only 12-14 feet away.
For about two months the stool has never been solid.
Besides, this type of diarrhea, there come too many burps - starting since I get up in the morning till I sleep. Every now and then. They come in the set of 5-6 burps together. There is no fowl smell, no gastric juices coming up. only gas. No flatulence. No nausea. Nothing else.
Occasionally I take Nux 200C one dose.
Our food is simple vegetarian, 1 chapati or Dal. I do take some yogurt sometime.
Please advice something for the immediate relief for the problem of Diarrhea.
Thanking you
With regards
