Can a remedy make symptoms worse?

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm also quite new to homeopathy. I've attended a few talks by various speakers, and my interest has grown. I bought the ainsworth essential kit, and used it for the first time this morning. I woke at two with a throbbing severe headache, and rather than take ibuprofen, I looked at my kit. I took belladonna. Four hours later it hadn't worked, and I remember being told if it wasn't right, it just won't work. So after four hours I took brryonia, it seemed to match my symptoms and feelings. I thought if it was the wrong one, it just wouldn't work. Within the hour, the headache had worsened, to the point of being debilitating, and I was very sick. Now I'm worried that it was the rememdy that caused this. Maybe it would have just happened had I not taken anything, but it's made me vary wary about using any treatments in future. Does anyone have any experience of this kind of thing, or was it just a coincidence? Thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Just a coincidence. Aggravation doesn't happen like this.
