9 yr old Upper Left Ab Pain

Hello. My daughter developed this sharp pain about 6 weeks ago.

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering?

When she first puts food or drink in her mouth, she feels the pain. It's right under her ribs on the left side. She feels it in the back and the front.

The pain comes and goes, like contractions.

After tasting the food, about an hour and half afterwards, an episode begins. Multiple contractions come, first every 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, then 20 minutes. For about 1 hour.

She cries with the pain, and she lies down, and if she is standing, she bends over.

When the pain comes, either before or after, she gets headache, nausea, and sometimes a pain in the bottom of her foot.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

none.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

Very depressed, almost suicidal. Thinks she is wasting her mother's time.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?


5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

Started March 24th. Also is concerned and anxious about school and absent father.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

Nighttime after dinner.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

Not much ameliorates it. Mother has to rub the stomach or the head. Sometimes being constipated is a blessing.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?


9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

The weeping happens sometimes, on some days.

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

she wants to see her friends and is sad that she's missing school for 2 weeks now.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?

likes all food except fish

bm once a day, looks yellow brown or orange brown, soft and sausage like.

no. Stay off from stomach usually.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

Prevacid, a protonpump inhibitor.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?

diabetes, high blood pressure.

Thin, almost 58 cm. 32 kG
