Continued fever

I have already listed out my present complaints in my post which are narrated again
I am suffering from low grade continued fever for the last two months .The fever varies from 99.5 to 101F .It is highest in the morning and comes down in evening . It rises by about one degree F during the night . All troubles increase during the night ,the mouth becomes dry in night and I have to keep drinking water even though there is no thirst . There is frequent urge to urinate in night ,as much as once an hour . The urge is normal during daytime . The tongue is heavily coated and there are cracks in the middle ,it feels as if it is burnt and scalded and I am unable take warm drinks , can eat only soft foods .
I have severe constipation and forced to take laxatives
9. Since how long are you suffering from each complaint .
For the last few days I feel slight chill in the evening which subsides in a few hours

In addition to my present complaints I have enlarged
benign prostate for about 15 yrs size 42 cc
10. Diabetic
11. Desire : salt
12. Thirst : no thirst
13. Tongue and Taste : tongue feels scalded burnt , coated generally white with cracks sometimes in centre
14. Current Blood Pressure : 170/100 without medicine and 130/90 with medicine

I was in excellent health till march 2006 ,at the age of 64 could tolerate extreme heat or cold . In march 2006 I had severe reaction to an allopathic medicine " offlin " I was hospitalised for 3 wks and bed ridden for about 2 yrs Ever since then I have almost no immunity , keep falling sick often .

somewhat irritable , easily offended , jealous , foreboding about future , vivid continuous dreams during sleep which are rarely remembered . did not have a happy family life but enjoyed my work . not talkative , like to lie quietly when ill .no desire for food when sick

20. Color of the secretions/discharges e.g

expectoration : rare but white to yellow

I had attack of chikangunia about four years ago .

The light chill that I am feeling for the last few evenings is accompanied by light
sweat on upper part of body

Today I have taken third dose of Rhus Tox 200 C .
Gradually I am feeling weaker,more and more exhausted,almost drained of energy,almost no appetite.
Could you kindly advise what to do .
I am extremely sorry for my remarks about Rhus and Apis being inimical

Really grateful for your reply and good wishes.

1 Overall there is no change in the fever pattern so far
The most distressing aspects are
Rise in temperature during night by about 1°F
Severe constipation ,loss of appetite . This is extremely uncomfortable.I feel that if constipation is relieved and I can eat normally , it may bring about improvement. Kindly consider this .

2 . I have taken one dose of ars alb 200 ,as advised

3 .I stopped all medicines on 16 may and and started Rhus on 17 may ,no other medicines.

Kindly render your valuable advice on constipation or as deemed appropriate.

This is in continuation of my earlier post.

There is one more very distressing symptom which I forgot to mention.

Ever since the fever started my tongue feels burnt and scalded,as if it is raw .I can somehow take soft lukewarm food and drink,that too , with discomfort

There is slight improvement in constipation but dryness of mouth and scalded feeling in the tongue are much worse.Earlier I felt dryness in mouth at night during sleep but today I am feeling dryness during daytime also . Today morning when I woke up the dryness in mouth and scalded feeling of tongue were so bad that I could not even talk properly.
The tongue is coated white with light pink rough edges and a tiny portion of tip pink .
I am feeling very sick and distressed

Sir,
With your kind blessings and good wishes there is relief in constipation and the fever is also coming down.
A new problem has now developed. I have enlarged prostate but the size is only 43 cc and I had no trouble so far. For the last few days , however,there is swelling around the urethra in night during sleep and the urine stream is very thin or even stopped .If I remain awake for a while the swelling reduces but comes on again when I fall asleep.There is no swelling during daytime and no problem in urination but the stream is thin .
I am really worried about this sudden development.
