Skin problem after shave

Hello doctors,
I get small bumps immediately after I shave my beard.I am 16 year old and started shaving since 4months.My doc told that it is due to the bacteria that occurs on the surface of the skin and told me to clean with soap before I shave.Even then I am getting those bumps again and again. They last for many days.I don't like my face with those bumps.PLS help.Thank you.

A non Homeopathic remedy to prevent any irritation after a shave is to use a few drops of any antiseptic like Savlon or Dettol on a wet palm which is rubbed into the skin of the face prior to a shave.

This will ensure that the bacteria present on the skin which are the cause of the irritation are neutralized and any irritation prevented before it starts.

Can Dettol, Savlon or after shave be used when on homeopathy?

Sulphur Iodide 3x - for how long?

I do not think that any homeopathic remedy used can be affected by the antiseptic which will arrest the spread of the Barber's itch that was the subject of my last post.

Any skin problem should be arrested within 3 days and it is recommended that the shaver blades or the razor is dipped in the antiseptic solution to prevent the spread of infection.

I was going through the archives and found this interesting discussion.

Many young people who just started shaving, get this problem initially, and it has nothing to do with Barber's itch.

Rajiv originally told about using water mixed with a few drops of calendula Q mother tincture,as an after shave lotion, in another forum.

I use a dry electric shaver, and sometime get these small bumps. I tried the calendula suggestion by Rajiv, and found it extremely useful.
