prescriber "remove the splinter form thy own eye"

when one is ill,, their whole being is ill...emotionally..mentally..soulfully..physically..
if a prescriber of medicines of " the true healing art " is ill..can they ''see the light "--so as heal ,,
as it is termed...??

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
i'll start it off...

I say--"NO"

prescriber will miss something...maybe some light .....but still darkness exists ..in some area..

but whom is in perfect light..no ill at all...?
so do we give up until we are well?

Usually people who refuse to be used are the ones who criticize others who are being used very well as being "unworthy" somehow. That's the TRUE splinter people (and sometimes it's a big pole too)

I faced this same doubt - not in medicine, but in spiritual life. I noticed I helped others who had the same emotional struggles that I had, it's as if I was the remedy because I have that very state myself? At the same time I'm getting healed in the process... iron sharpens iron.

Rare people are provers of Exodus 23:25 and similar verses in realtime potency... they exist and you will see them sometimes but they are rare. Most of the time there is affliction and trial verses being proved in realtime potency... or humanity drinking judgment remedies (Rev 16:6; Amos 5:7 - compare that to Rev 8:11). It's something I've been seeing lately and wanted to share, the Great Prescriber

the blessing and the curse.

obedience to the 'word of YHWH (god)" = blessing and life

disobedience = curse and death

That too, but what I'm saying is that even the righteous man will not necessarily be healthy or prosperous, and might easily be afflicted... there are many "provings" of a righteous man... according to different times seasons and missions

John, I think you're right in saying 'no one is in perfect light.'

as for the spiritual aspect, we live in a fallen world. the Noetic effect is on all of us. Adam sinned and we all fell, body mind and soul.

Our ability to think and reason is compromised as well. That is why we are to seek the wisdom from above.
the fear of the LORD is the beginning of all wisdom. and so on.

I don't mean to misuse Scripture, but I think it has a little application here...
"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known." 1 Cor 13:12

right on..

ur not misusing scripture..

"...YHWH(god,elohim,lord) chastizes the ones he loves...as a father would a son..."

"...and the wise love the one whom chastises them..."

lets see how this fits the thread..

"......The physician's high and only mission is to restore the sick to health, to cure, as it is termed.1

1 His mission is not, however, to construct so-called systems, by interweaving empty speculations and hypotheses concerning the internal essential nature of the vital processes and the mode in which diseases originate in the interior of the organism, (whereon so many physicians have hitherto ambitiously wasted their talents and their time); nor is it to attempt to give countless explanations regarding the phenomena in diseases and their proximate cause (which must ever remain concealed), wrapped in unintelligible words and an inflated abstract mode of expression, which should sound very learned in order to astonish the ignorant - whilst sick humanity sighs in vain for aid. Of such learned reveries (to which the name of theoretic medicine is given, and for which special professorships are instituted) we have had quite enough, and it is now high time that all who call themselves physicians should at length cease to deceive suffering mankind with mere talk, and begin now, instead, for once to act, that is, really to help and to cure......"

are we all ok so far?

so much of peoples lives are wasted with talking, (not doing) and with speculating and wallowing in "why".

this is very difficult to wrap one's head around, it's so simple that it seems complicated.

what IS here and now, so we can move forward??

rom109 7 years ago
that is the thing--here and now

we live it everyday---and yet we often miss it--left over for reflection of what was..maybe in a diary or on film --why?

just live that now moment and allow next moment to get same value---I have notion that in healthy way--picture,recordings ....etc of life events (personal life) will lessen when we are well...the now is valued and the here is "RIGHT ON"..

The highest ideal of cure is rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of the health, or removal and annihilation of the disease in its whole extent, in the shortest, most reliable, and most harmless way, on easily comprehensible principles
