Blocked ear

My friend, 25 year old boy, is complaining a blocked feeling in his left ear.

This problem has been on and off for some years. Usually whenever he catches cold, then this problem will follow.

It usually happens in winter, but now during the monsoon season here in North India he has the problem again.

It has been now already for one month. There is no pain or discharge. Only feeling that the ear, left ear, is full or blocked and because of that he feels also disturbance in the hearing.

It helps when he pulls the earlobe down or outside with his hand, the the feeling of fullness is relieved and he hears better.

I would be happy to get some suggestions of remedies for him. And what else should I tell about him?

I wanted to also mention, he gets some skin rash in his hands and arms when it is very hot, tiny tiny almost skin colored bumps. Mostly on hands, but if the hot weather continues for long, then he may get on feet also. It itches and burns. Maybe something similar to heat rash. And in the winter the skin in the hands gets chapped and cracked.

While I am myself searching for remedies, pulsatilla seems to fit in many ways, also his appearance and character.

But he is not thirstless, like I so many times read in the description of pulsatilla. Is this a strong point?

Any other remedies I could study for this?
