The ABC Homeopathy Forum

E.angustofolia or E.pueperra

I have been suggested one single doze of influenzium 200 (6 pills) in the night with no medication the next day followed by three drops of echinea Q in 1 teaspoon of water twice a day for a month to combat my recurrent infections.. I was given two choices. Was advised E.pueperra by the shopkeeper but wanted doubly sure before I made the purchase. Kindly help...

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What are those recurring infections you are referring to?

There are two prominent medicines in homeopathy starting with eupatorium.

Eupatorium perfoliatum

Eupatorium purpureum

They have different spheres of actions.

Eupatorium angustifolium looks to be a herbal remedy. I am not aware of it as a homeopathic remedy.

Unless we know, what for you are seeking a remedy, we can't advise further.

Sir,Echinacea angustofolia or echinacea pueperra is what I am referring to. This was in respect to my son ( 4 year old) recurrent bouts of viral infections. I was suggested the same here in this forum.. My son seems to be getting out one infection to get into another. There is a breather of a few days and once again the issue starts. It's either cold and cough followed by fever or the other way round. Looking around for some preventive measure

Sorry. I got confused.

Echinacea angustifolia is commonly used as mother tincture.

Why don' you check with the original prescriber?
